Have everyone sign saying they will split the winnings on all pool tickets. I personally don't bother getting any large purchases before the 300 level. You should also search for pool rules to get more ideas.

If someone has developed a good strategy for a lottery pool and have shared it with LP members, some of them make want to try it with their co-workers or families and friends next time the PowerBall or MegaMillion jackpot goes over $200M. Playing on your own if you're also managing a lottery pool can lead to confusion and bad feelings if you win big with your own tickets, it should be avoided.

i would get a lawyer and a financial planner together and then go into hiding from everone.i won some money in this years superbowl pool in the final and i have so many people asking for money or drinks in the bar that the football pool was held.some people i dont even know are asking for me to buy them lunch.so maybe this was a training excersise for when i hit the big one.

I think that about 11% of tickets sales , not 11% of total prize pot( pool), would go into the jackpot since total prize pool would be one half of total ticket sales.

I was in a lottery pool over ten years ago but I stopped being in it because I am very greedy and I do not want to share my winnings with any one that I do not have to. So I would never join a lottery pool again if I had the opportunity because I would not want to share my winnings with any one period.-weshar75

Sure, before I retired I was in several lottery pools with my co-workers, some were for every drawing and others were only when the jackpots were large. I have no problem with joining a lottery pool with people I know and see every day but I would never join a pool with strangers.

Any one hearing the rumor that the ticket is owned by a pool? FOX is saying the ticket is part of numerous tickets borught at the same time, and that it could be a pool.
