Arkansas Lottery partners with grocery chain on vending machines
An Ohio-based grocery store chain has signed a contract with the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery to sell lottery tickets through vending machines.
Lottery Director Ernie Passailaigue signed the agreement April 11 after the House Rules Committee declined to recommend passage of a Senate-approved bill that would bar the lottery from using the machines.
The Arkansas lottery began selling tickets through the machines on Feb. 3 at a Love's Travel Stop in North Little Rock, and the machines have si

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
Well, apparently Idahoans haven't cut back on lottery due to price increases. The small Fred Meyer I go to just installed a THIRD vending machine. It's a small enough store that they only carry about 75% of the products the other stores in town do. So I bought my MM for tomorrow night from the new machine and got a 10X. Just the 10X feels like good luck, so we'll see if it holds.

Well Shoot..I dropped my scratcher ticket
A few weeks ago I went to a lotto vending machine inside a busy gas station on the boarder it was a Saturday so the store was packed with us folks from utah playing. Someone had left a $10 scratcher inside the machine, I scratched it and it was a loser.. your ticket was probably a loser . Once you lost the ticket it was no longer yours and the person in possession of the ticket is the rightful owner as they did not obtain it illegally (stealing from you)

Do you search out and check discarded lottery tickets?
I looked in the trash can next to a lotto vending machine, today. All the ones I saw had the bar code scratched off. Means, they were already scanned by the user at the machine. Here in Illinois, every lottery locations has scanners for players, so it will probably be difficult to find unscanned tickets. But then again if I see any tickets without the bar code scratched, I will probably check them.

If you found a unscratched lottery ticket...
A while back I bought some tix out of the vending machine at the grocery store. When I was done, I noticed there was still credit in the machine. I knew I had spent what I put in, I also knew what was still in there wasn't mine. I just left it there in case whoever put it in was coming back. Or for the next person. I didn't want it, it wasn't mine.

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
I've noticed that regardless of where the vending machine is (even though Publix is a good one), I do pretty good. I generally don't like to play big dollar tickets over the counter anymore because I have a fear of them being tampered with, if that's possible. But then again, can they be tampered with before being put in the machine, who knows? I just know that unless Gold Rush is on one of MY personal favorite numbers that do good for me, I prefer to get one out of the machine.

A crazy lottery story
I had an issue with a vending machine this past Saturday. I usually play the same #'s for Power ball so I will use the same play ticket a few times, well this past Saturday the machine ate my ticket. I mean I got my money back and just filled out another ticket. But I guess even though the ticket was in good condition they can maybe still feel worn out according to the machine. Now sure otherwise why it would eat it.

Kind of weird, lottery machine
I've had a machine start to spit out my ticket then pull it back in, and I've had one sound like it generated a ticket but it never came out. In both cases I contacted a CS person and they opened the machine to retrieve my ticket. It was in there, but encountered a glitch trying to leave the womb.
I wonder if the person before you had a problem and just left, so the ticket you bought forced theirs out while yours stayed in the machine for the next person?
I wish they could give us draw ter
