Powerball Pools Legal or not?
That's definitely the safe way to go. Also, you should each have a photocopied list of every member of the pool, along with a brief statement saying that if a person's name is not on the list, then they have not contributed, and are not part of the pool, even if they have contributed in the past.

SoCal man sues to get share of $315 million lottery jackpot
Most people join a lottery pool as a cheap way to cover a lot of chances to win a lottery jackpot. When some of them are too cheap to pay up every time the pool plays then it obvious they're the ones looking for something for nothing because cheap is still more than they want to pay.

SoCal man sues to get share of $315 million lottery jackpot
I WEAR A BATHING SUIT IN MY POOL...THAT'S IT. Lottery Pools are becoming a sleeze ball's paradise. I'll never participate in a pool or go partners with anyone. And...remember to check your own tickets.

Phased Ocurrence Comparisons
With a 6/49 games, using only the previous 4 or 5 drawings means you're only including a maximum 24-30 of the 49 numbers in your number pool. If the pool have any repeats, it's even smaller so you should only have a few lines to play.

Lucky Break: Co-workers win lottery
that's why you make copies of the tickets that are in the pool and give them out so everyone knows what numbers are in the pool. If you win on your own tickets nobody can complain because they knew before the draw what numbers were theirs.

$315M Mega Millions lottery winners stay on the job
If that office person who was sick puts up a fight for a share of the money then they won't collect a dime until its resolved. the problem is these idiot Judges around the country has set a presence for people to sue that do not get into a pool on there job. every case i have heard of the plaintiff has won a share of the jackpot even though they didnot give any money to be in a pool.

Your lottery pool won,but you didn't play
I never formed my own lottery pool, but when prompted to get into an office pool, I look at it like they have a gun to my head so I always hand over my cash and then wait till after the drawing and when we didn't win I tell the person who bought the actual tickets that there a loser and it's their fault that we didn't win.

Just heard on the news no one has came forward to claim the pot yet. One worker who was in the pool the drawing before they won was absent from work the day they put together the money for the draw they won .... so because of her absence the secretary got in the pool in her place. The absentee employee might want to make a fight out of this....oops here we go again will they give her a cut.

Your lottery pool won,but you didn't play
One way to avoid creating a situation for hungry lawyers to exploit is to require pool members to pay in advance, like for 6 drawings. Renew the contract after the 4th drawing.People who don't have enough money to pay in advance shouldn't be in a pool to begin with.

Your lottery pool won,but you didn't play
I feel that if I didn't play they won, that was my chance to win I blew it BIG time. You can't honestly expect to get a piece of the pie when you did not invest in THAT specific pool for that specific draw. It's ludicis (sp) to think that you could give them $3.00 collect even $10.00.I HAD MY CHANCE BLEW IT!!!!!!!!!!Those people that say hire a lawyer would get your feelings seriously hurt if I had been one of those that had given money in that pool.
