Can Anyone Rig the Lottery?
Well it is possible , but over the years I think it has become less and less frequent since the security of the lottery has been tightened a bit. PowerBall does have unofficial drawings prior to the official drawing to make sure the machine is working and what not, but once they have done the official drawing they CANNOT do another drawing. Of course if you're one of those loony conspiracy type of people, I guess you could argue that the double digit balls weight more than the single digit ball

Pay/Hire Close Friends after Jackpot
The IRS won't necessarily believe that somebody else owned a share of the ticket before the drawing took place. Especially if you try to split it such that everybody doesn't have equal shares you may have problems. If somebody wants to give $100,000 to somebody it will probbaly be better to make it a gift and paty the taxes rather than hire tham as an employee. If you pay them $100,000 you'd each pay social security tax, and the recipient would have an additional $100,00 in taxable income.

New Tenn. congressman wants national lottery
Pay off the national debt....Riiggghhhtttt. It would just be another stash of cash for the politicians to raid to pay for some useless and wasteful government program. That account would be filled with just as many IOUs as the social security fund is.

Am I A Dreamer?
THIS IS MY FIRST POST ON THIS FORUM
For the past several years, I was hooked on the game of roulette, and spent a lot of money on systems that simply did not win very often - if ever. I read many books and posted frequently on gamblersglen.com. Now, that I am retired and live on a Social Security check of $1,432 per month I am hooked on PICK 3 here in Texas.
As of Nov 1, 2006 I have not won one red cent playing the game. I normally play up to 20 numbers on the night time game. I purchased

U.S. legislation likely just a speed bump for online gambling
I reactivated my account with Click to Pay and they called me on the phone and said that they wanted to ask me some questions to prove who I was. I thought they were going to ask me the run of the mill questions like what's your pet's name or your mother's maiden name. What was your nickname in high school? You know, information you had given them before the secret questions - but they knew my oldest daughter's name, where I had worked, my address 25 years ago, and 30 years ago.
Then I as

New Privacy Setting Available
I just finished adding a new privacy setting allowing members to disable the password reminder feature on their account. It also disables the Username reminder feature as well.
The setting should only be used if there is no chance it will be needed in the future, since not even the member will be able to obtain a password reminder once the setting is enabled.
The password/Username reminders are on the Log In page, but those who are certain that they will never forget their password might

How many on-line players are here?
Your security setting might be too high where it won't accept a cookie from LotteryPost, do you have to log in every visit or does the site otherwise remember you? BobP

finders keeper, losers weepers, we lost a $5,000,000 instant winner
We had a winner in our hands, we thought. Wanted to take it to the store to check it. Purchased a NJL Instant $5.00 game nbr 540, Lifetime Riches $5,000 weekly for life, guaranteed $5,000,000 payout lifetime. We had never played that game before, only $3.00 Win for Life. Mostly played $2.00 games with constant small winnings.

Lottery win is early wedding gift
As you all have said I as well can see both sides of the tracks. As a woman that is married 14 years I can relate on trusting your other half but as well I think that if I was single when I won the money I would want that security. We all have seen how money can change some people and that is not something that I would want to live

Ga midday 437
Thanks Chouquounette! I'm upset with myself. 437 are the first three numbers of my social security numbers. I'm originally from New Orleans, Louisiana.
