LSSI, Welcome. At the end of your post you said, There are also some stupid lottery tricks like playing all thePowerball numbers and using QP for all the regular numbers. Thisguarantees that you will have the PowerBall on 1 ticket reducing yourodds from around 175+ Million to 1, to around 5+ million to one. This only guarantees that you are going to have spent $39 to play all the Powerballs (red balls) and one of them will pay you $3. So if that's all you hit, you are stuck $36.

Mega Money (Pick 4/44, pick 1/22 megaball)
In Florida we have a powerball-knockoff game with better odds, but the jackpots are far smaller, and the remaining prizes aren't much. Whatever you use, if a game has too many possible combinations, it is hard to win.
