thanks to Edge. Maybe this could help. Combination rank order.
I just thought of this while looking at one of Edge's blog...He had in there a picture of a lottery ticket...And it had me thinking... You know when you go and buy a Powerball lottery ticket, i don't know but i think is not more than 5 combinations per ticket....I don't know this because i've never paid attention to that part...Well i noticed that in the ticket of Powerball that Edge show it had 5 combination each costing 1 dollar...And guess what: It was listed/order in ranking...It was list

How are jackpots split if 10 people won at a workplace?
Every state is different on this. Some states will issue multiple checks to a pool of winners, and some will only issue one check. My state, Louisiana, will only issue one check. However, regardless of which state you are in, an IRS form 5754 will have to be completed detailing the names, addresses, and SS numbers of the winners. This is the form if you want to take a look: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f5754.pdf That form has to be filled out so it can be determined how to sp

Colorado Lottery reviewing partnership with Mega Millions
The Colorado Lottery, along with other members of the Multi State Lottery Association (MUSL), is reviewing the option of selling tickets for the multi-state Mega Millions lottery game. Started in 1996 as the Big Game, Mega Millions has a starting jackpot of $12 million and other prizes ranging from $2 to $250,000. The game would supplement, rather than replace Powerball (operated through MUSL), the mega jackpot game currently offered in Colorado. In these tough economic times, lotteries n

The Ideal Pipe Dream
Hitting the lottery, I have close family and friends who have hit major lotto jackpots. They all seem to have one-thing in common. And that is, boredom...or that they all say they have done all that is to be done, they have cars, boats, trips, homes, and savings - A GREAT LIFE. Now, here is me....well inside of course I feel I am going to oneday hit the lottery big and that hopefully I am not in my late 60's. But I have to disagree to agree with the known lottery winners I know. That

21 Combinations
...There certainly is that off-chance that the draw results can be manipulated or adjusted to some degree in a true conspiracy fashion if the draws are not televised live in real time. Whether a half an hour of deadline time is enough time to accomplish that massive feat is debate-able. ...The ticket-vending deadline is probably required to make sure that all vending machines are offline and disabled before the draw, so that the vendors/public-at-large cannot purchase a winning ticket combo a

PA Super 7 Jackpot
Well I guess I may as well make its own thread about this new game. I am surprised that this is not yet in the lotter news section. I only got 2 QP's the first time and only matched one number. This seems very hard even with 11 numbers drawn. I like the payouts though and hope that the jackpots rise quicky. $200,000 is pretty good to start, which is what it went up to. 03/13/09 Winning Numbers: 19 27 28 30 32 38 41 43 55 66 71 0 Players matched 7 of 11, Jackpot rolls to $1,200,000.

One way or another
Sorry I couldn't be of any help. It has been my experience when it comes to lotteries, there are no simple YES or NO answers for every question lottery players ask especially when they get beyond those questions about odds, jackpots and history that most first time lottery players want to know. Keep looking, I'm sure you'll find someone with an answer you like because there are plenty of players who have been playing lotteries for years and know a lot about them even though they've never won

Two tickets will share $174M Powerball lottery jackpot
Ok I know that some of you's guys are gonna call me crazy but does anyone else see the irony is the latest PB winners? It just seems a little bit odd to me. Okay......the Indiana players that won were from Ohio .....a MM state......and in the press release they stated they didn't like the current games in their state so they play in Indiana and not too long ago the 315mill winner in Indiana was from Ohio......a MM state Now these 2 winners from Delaware and Pennsylvania are both borderi

Hello, thought I would share with you Texans my observation on Texas Two Steps, aka TX2S. I will be moving to Texas next month, and thought to get a head start on this.
