Do you know anyone that has won a big amount
i dont know any personally, but know of 2 winners. 15 mill powerball, and $3 mill something else.
both could have been happier with the way things turned out. estranged families seem a common event where people think you should have or could have given them more, or invested the way they say to. ridicule when things go wrong.

Another Reason To Not Live In California
Being that winning a second prize with 5 + 0 numbers is likely a once in a lifetime event, I'd much prefer the fixed payout as opposed to pari-mutuel.
I wouldn't like the idea that I'm paying the same for a ticket as the rest of the country, while in a preponderance of games, I stand to win much less.

Connecticut: 2/1 - 2/29/2012
Thanks Tek.
We need to hold a round table event somewhere soon. I know that if we got together and eye-balled everyone's workouts, we would be able to pick out the true winners. I had 319 in front of me and dismissed it. I didn't think the 3 would come. I REALLY liked 9 for tonight. I Bet you that someone else would have picked it out and said play it!

Numbers I awoke with.
Better to have the 8 in front of you. You never want to be behind an 8 ball. Difficult to escape.
23 is available help for something-- whether you re giving it or its coming to you. And since you were looking down the street, you are looking forward to an event.

Iowa Lottery security chief bent on determining identity of jackpot winner
We all have to look at it from the winner's point of view, winning a decent size jackpot of this size is a very life changing event and can cause an array of ; should I and shouldn't I; thoughts to occur. It's probably taken them a year to finally grasp the concept of being newly found wealth and get over the jitters of being new money. By being said, it shows that now being able to over come the temptation of claiming for a year that once the funds are deposited into their account they are more

Nice! It's cool to hear of a great win like that.Congrats on the 500 and being 'up' lol.you sound like me-- already have the Vegas trip planned once the big win comes in :) (I'll return to Vegas in 13 days, so my time is running out for the TN Lottery to be good to me!)I have to ask, do you and your lottery friends already have the agreement on who will take the tax hit in the event you win more than $600?I had the super rare opportunity to win $1000 earlier this year on , yep, you guessed it, G

The "ONES"..
Regarding the ones,11's,etc., did you know that back in 1999 the New York times telephone number was, 111-111-1111. This was their main number used. They designed this fake number so to speak so a phone call could never be traced or pinpointed from any particular extension within the Times, in the event of a subpoena. Then on August 15, 2011 the number died. This happened because the Times evidently got word that a federal law was going to take effect where all caller ID numbers had to be true.
