D.C. Lottery contract award put on hold
Washington, D.C. Mayor Adrian M. Fenty is withdrawing a controversial proposal to award a $120 million lottery contract to a start-up firm in a maneuver designed to prevent the agreement from dying in the D.C. Council. Fenty (D) will resubmit the proposal in September, when the council returns from a summer recess, interim Attorney General Peter J. Nickles said. That would be the third time Fenty asks the council to give the contract to W2I Ventures instead of extending the agreement with

Ontario Lottery adds signature requirement for claiming prizes
chasingadream et al...>>> NO. You and others still don't understand it. Perhaps this will help clear it up for you. The 'moron' who has a winning ticket here in Ontario [moron-probably 25% of society by the way] NOW has all the bells and whisltes for him to be alerted to a win on his ticket signed or unsigned. Whether he is picking his nose at the time the clerk is checking his ticket or looking at the cigarette rack or chocolate bars types he now has the great noise of the gover

JadeLottery, what I do see in the graphs and all the data is this; They do seem to bring up suspision that it the wisconsin lottery could be fixed to a level of accuracy beyond normal suspision. That being the case, you might wonder how or why you even or ever noticed what you noticed and put together the incredible data in the first place. And what your true goal is now? Is it to prove something to yourself? Or to win? Please dont say both it really is one more than the othe

Maryland Mega winner believes in magic
Uncle Jim: My comments weren't specifically aimed at you (well, most of them weren't), and you have my most sincere and heartfelt apologies if I gave that impression. I always enjoy reading your posts, as I know you put a great deal of thought into every sentence you write. Excepting the paragraph in which I addressed you, the remainder was meant as food for thought for the general membership. I've noticed some pretty scathing comments coming from many other members, not just in

Tenn. Lottery created discontent with move to computerized drawings
Lottery should not have ended drawings By Larry Duck When the Tennessee Lottery started drawing the numbers by computer software, did you know they were doing away with the ball drawings? I could hear a great cry from loyal lottery players. People who have been playing the lottery for many years must have felt betrayed by the lottery, as they were not properly informed that this was going to happen. No constituent votes were taken and no polls conducted the lottery just made its decisio

Tenn. Lottery says duplicate numbers drawn were legit; can we be sure?
from the article: Kym Gerlock, vice president of communications for the Tennessee Lottery, said the reappearance of number 940 was random chance. It was not an error. It's rare, but it does happen, Gerlock said. Each drawing is a totally separate instance and one is not related to another. __________________________________________ And so the dance begins ... It's rare, but it does happen. What she should have said is, It's rare but it does happen here, and in

Engineer reported bad Tenn. Lottery computerized draws
from the article: Lemmonds, who said he does not play Cash3 or Cash 4, said he just hopes the problem is fixed as it impacted many players. I can't say I was surprised, he said, adding he hopes a similar problem does not occur again. ____________________________________ It's a pretty sad commentary when someone who doesn't even play the daily games notices the same anomalies we see in these faux drawings. Unfortunately, we know with relative certainty that this will hap

Players warned lottery about tickets flaw
This is absolutely the best opportunity that has ever been presented for ridding the lotteries of RNG's! Look at how many lies the Tennesse Lottery has been caught in so far. 1. They said this type of thing could never happen with an RNG. State of the art technology! Keeping up with industry trends! Pfffffbbbbbttttt! It has happend before...it happened this time and it will happen again. 2. They said they tested the RNG and got doubles. We now know that can't be true because the p
