Brooklyn teen wins $1,000 a week for life
yes, i read it. and that kid won't last one semester in college. i see by your spelling you didn't. i really don't think that a BMW with a maintenance package or not is that inexpensive. you know it's going to get stolen or totaled. i'd make book on that. any halfway decent college will chew up that 32k a year and there willl be no job when he decides to quit school (which he will). this sheepheads bay street kid should forget about wasting his time and money going to college. he should buy a to

Congrats on your new job lots. I have a decent job, but I am so ready to retire. Just pure stress every day. A lot of it is stress I put on myself. But it's wearing me down. Here's hoping you win a $5000 straight!

I think this is about the time of the year where they retire old ballsets and put new ones into service (witness TX pre-draw results lately - there's a new set starting with the letter B ). That may be the reason why there's a lot not making sense right now. Just a theory at least. If crow were still around, he'd have some amazing conspiracy theory for us... but alas....

Do you play pick 3, pick 4 and pick 6 as a 2nd revenue ?
If you don't play as a 2nd revenue, then why DO you play? We all play to win extra $$$. We don't win all the time although we all wish we did. And lets face it, everyone single one of us on LP is searching for the secret code, magic elixur, or whatever you want to call it, that will enable us to win as often as we want whenever we want. As for the jackpot games, we are all looking for that one big hit that will allow us to retire and live like a king with no financial worries for the rest o

Do you play pick 3, pick 4 and pick 6 as a 2nd revenue ?
I only play certain times as opposed to every day as i used to do before designing my stategies. Nowadays, i mostly concentrate on playing pick 4 (straight) and pick 6 ( Lotto 649) cause they pay more...I gotta retire soon. lol ! If i really need cash fast, i will play pick 3 straight, but on a certain time, that's how i won 3 times real fast...check my old posts. My strenght is into the pick 3 and pick 4, but i'm starting to design some strategies for 649, one tip...i eliminated some numbers

Which odds are better. Part 2.
As for being comfortable with 70k per year, how long do you plan on living? At a modest inflation rate of 2% today's 70k will be a little under 43k in 25 years. Dying the day after I take my last dollar out of the bank might happen, but my plan is to not die before running out of money. Since I don't plan on dying for at least 40 or 50 years my income has to be much more than my current needs before I retire. I took all that into consideration when I said $70k is cool. My living expenses (i

Waiting for Wealth
but in preparation for the day that you become wealthy. Then your question should have been should we support policies that help us to become wealthy . There is commercial with people holding signs with their number meaning the amount of money they need to retire. The idea is to invest their money with a firm and they will reach their goal. Four years ago we found out that many Wall Street firms lost the money people were investing. The same polices that helped some people become wealthy al

Retired Illinois couple share $656M lottery jackpot
What story did you read? The first sentence in this story states he's a retired computer systems designer and his wife, a computer programmer of course they could retire at 62 though it only says he is, they both probably were paid well, retiring at 62 is not some great achievement. Neither of those have anything to do with finance and if they worked for either a insurance or finance company in those roles it still doesn't qualify you in the least bit to handle this and a team of financial advis

Retired Illinois couple share $656M lottery jackpot
I strongly disagree with you about not getting a positive update about the Butlers in the future! He worked for an insurance company, and she worked for a financial investment company, and neither one of them strikes me as being a spendthrift! They worked and saved enough to retire at 62, that should speak volumes about their financial savvy ........... This is how the American dream works, you work hard and save for your future , while not whining like a grammar school child about wha
