MUSL employee arrested in Hot Lotto jackpot mystery
Ok states do something more. Director of Information Security, sounds like a big position or is it? He played the lottery and wasn't supposed to play, he must've known taking the job that was one of the no-no's. Anyway the things he did to hide the identity of who actually won and to collect the winnings are worse than playing. Someone said 'insider info' ....quite possible and yes, it does raise flags, doesn't it? What actually do the inside people know? I'd like to know how

Good Samaritan may get unclaimed lotto jackpot in Spain
Includes audio report A city in northwest Spain issued a rather unusual lost-and-found notice this week: FOUND: A lottery ticket bought more than a year ago, which entitles the owner to an unclaimed $6.3 million jackpot. LOST: The ticket's owner. From its El Gordo ( The Fat One ) Christmas lottery, to the summertime EuroMillions drawing, Spain is a country obsessed with playing the lottery especially in a dismal economy. With unemployment above 27 percent, many Spaniards fi

Playing every ticket from a machine.
Well, against my better judgement I decided to try this again, but not on a self-serve vending machine. I did it in a store with one of those electronic ticket dispensers that the clerk controls from the register. Same principle though, 1 ticket of each game from this 20 bin display case. Did pretty good on this one: spent $80 and got back $170. This included two $50 wins on $5 games and two of the winners were Win-All symbols. I love getting a Win-All, even though they may be small sometimes

Post your scratch ticket results
The good days of $100's abound seem to be over Matt...your decision whether it's discouraging or not to other players, might be a good choice. I found a $100 winner on the new $20 ticket, it had 2 cash stacks..winning amount shown underneath was $50 for each..ticket #011. I had to buy 2 of them from the machine (my fav store) to get it. If I was on friendlier terms with the ticket hawk/clerk at my store I'm sure she would be able to tell me the same thing...they just aren't doing

Judgmental Store Clerks >:(
No way! Thank your lucky stars you do not know... They are people but it is a long story...The key factors for being classified a hawk is you have to be part stalker, part bs'er, part thief and part quick change artist....go from watching an instant players selections and progress to watching the shelves in the store in 1/8th second flat when the player turns around be- cause s/he feels they are being watched. They are the ones who swoop in and grab up the next ticket after an

Enigma Machine for Scratchers
I was scratching two scratchoff games a little while back that won me $20 and $10. The $10 win was from a Bingo style game where there were hidden symbols under a call area and the game grids would actually have the same symbol both above and beneath the latex with the latex simply a convenient means for you to mark the symbols that match. I started thinking about what can I tell about this card before I scratch. There's the obvious, the top prize $75,000 prize would be by having a diagonal i

Arkansas Lottery needs vending machines, Director says
For the Arkansas lottery to increase revenue from year to year, the lottery's director told commissioners Wednesday that they will have to approve the use of ticket-vending machines. Director Ernie Passailaigue said businesses are seeking ways to cut labor costs, and automating the lottery is an important way to boost sales and help vendors save money. This is the future of lottery, Passailaigue said. A handout picture of one of the machines shows an array of ticket choices -- from Pow

Millionaire Jumbo Bucks (Ga.) question
OP, you have to be very careful with the $20 tickets. Don't test your luck with them. All things considered, I do better on the $5.00 tickets and believe me, I buy enough of our $20 tickets here in PA. I've won $100 many times on a $5 ticket - that's 20 times the ticket price...for me to do that on a $20 ticket..I'd have to win $400 consistently. Sure the $400 is better than the $100 but consider this too: $20 buys 4 $5.00 tickets...and 1 $20.00 If I have $200 I want spend on scratch of

N.H. Lottery gets approval for $30 scratch tickets
Is the buzz that comes from buying a $20 scratch ticket starting to wear off? Don't worry; you will soon be able to press a vending machine button and buy a nation-leading $30 ticket if the state lottery commission has its way. The state Senate overruled its presiding officer and advanced a bill intended to give the Lottery Commission the freedom to decide when the top ticket of $20 has run its course. Texas and Connecticut are the only state lotteries in the nation selling a $30 scr
