Clerk or machine error
I went to a retailer today to purchase pick 3 pick 4 evening tickets. Gave her my slips new kid ran them jammed the machine. She comes fixes it canceled ran tickets and then ran them again. After 2 slips ran I gave her a final number to key in BOOM DONE. Made the cut off later that evening I went to check my numbers and the clerk ran my slips for tomorrow evening BUT the last one keyed in played for today the right night. A limit on the number of tickets per machine is a reasonable fix to block an all-combo buyout, if the limit is chosen correctly. Did the same group use their profits from the last all-combo buyout jackpot to max out as many machines possible on this latest courier ticket win after the group had probed and found out the limit per machine in December?

Like I mentioned years ago a well heeled lady playing scratch tickets and using ATM right next to lotto machine to get more money. She tossed tickets. Scanned them and one was a $200 winner. Took it from Pilot to another station and liar comes to me and says that's his ticket. At that other store found a $50 winner in the trash can. Dumpster diving pays off once in a while. Yes, this was meant to happen to him and very happy lady luck was waiting!

Once in a while a payslip reader machine will not read one of my, mostly perfectly, printed playslips... And the clerk will want to hand it back... I find it interesting that most clerks don't know that, here in Missouri, the playslip reader can read a payslip from 4 different directions... So, I ask the clerk to rotate the ticket, low and behold, the playslip gets read correctly... I even ran across a clerk that did not believe, nor would try to rotate the payslip...
