If I wanted to play a game with a ~50% chance of winning, I would play baccarat or blackjack or craps or a roulette outside bet. Probability of winning is 45 to 49 percent and wins pay even money (bet $1 to win $2 in lottery speak). Your stupid game is bet $572 to maybe break even IF you win. Dumbest game ever!

Most people don't buy Powerplay because there's a 96% chance you'll waste the extra dollar. That extra dollar is a 50% increase, which is a lot of money when one buys a lot of tickets. I put $200 into this game and got 100 entries. I don't care about a gimmick that has a 50% house edge. Buying it would reduce my entries down to 66 to win $800 million.

If I won lots of money, I would be happy to pay my fair share of taxes. Everyone needs to pay their fair share. Unfortunately the tax code has gotten less fair over time, with carve-outs and deductions for favored groups making things a mess. A lot of people might say that paying $3,615,320 isn't paying your fair share even if that is the tax rate. Do you agree with them?
