Colorado Lottery Vending Machines Now Require ID Scanned
I'm a regular lottery player and have been living in Colorado for a little while now. I still have my Oregon ID card (state issued ID, not a drivers license). I don't drive so I haven't been in a hurry to get a Colorado ID since my Oregon ID doesn't expire for almost 10 years. I'm too lazy to go to the gas station and ask for a ticket and shade numbers Lol. I might try to buy 2 tickets at a time from the quickpick machine to see if it would give different numbers. I wonder if someone has won a jackpot using the quickpick machines since it gives the same number so multiple people win if ever.

WA lottery quickpick machines are so bad at giving random numbers. I bought a 5-play $10 tickets and 3 lines have the same Powerball number. So, I bought another $2 ticket and the Powerball number that the machine gave was also the same number.

Dummy me kept thinking it was a scratch ticket until just now!! Our Fast Play in KY has the bar code for this and all machine printed paper tickets. When the roll is getting low here I believe a red streak appears, unlike NC, it is in the side only. All store produced tickets either vendor or clerk's machine put the bar code on the front only. Not possible to put it on the back.

Wow. I've been to that EXACT store when I lived there. Congratulations to her. I remember being at a grocery store vending machine and I put my money in and a man was trying to make conversation asking me which scratcher I was going to play and as he was pointing he accidentally pressed the button. It was MY money but we laughed and he put another $10 in the machine to reimburse me. He was embarrassed and walked away. I don't know if he won off that ticket or not. Lol

Nm supposedly is computerized. I have had a misprint of my tickets with these machines. Last year before thanksgiving I won $1200 on pick 4. I gave gave the same slip to the clerk twice. The machine printed out two tickets one with November 20th and the other with the 27th. The wining draw on the 20th was 1117 I had 1711 straight box. The Nm lottery refused to acknowledge that the machine printed out the error as a result they only paid for one ticket.

Twas only a $1 but I still enjoyed thinking for a bit that it could be big $$$ . I got it from the machine at my Publix and went back and bought the rest of the book...ticket 004 to the end, and got the rarest of all symbols on the $30 FRM; the 20X. This is probably another $200 ($10 x 20X) but I will look up the odds later, could be $500 (combine with a 2X), or $1K...either way I will not scratch it until 2022. Best of luck everyone!!

The forms must work in the lotto machine. If you're having reading trouble at the ticket terminals..it may be cauze, you're covering up the Borders wit your printed markings, which the Terminals must be able to see, in order to determine exactly which number slot on the Bet slip iz chosen..REDUCING the size of THAT, will sove the problem..

I agree. I accidentally played it tonight. I completely fouled up using the machine. I had $2 in the machine meaning to play two different numbers ANY. After the first ticket came out, I discovered that I had used my $2 on a Fireball ANY play on 568. Not at all what I meant to do. I'm not sure if I hit the Fireball button by accident or if I failed to hit it to turn it off. That's why I'm so interested to find out what the default is.
