N.J. weighs keeping lottery winners anonymous
Perhaps the thought of lottery integrity by plastering names and or photographs needs to be re-examined. Both DE MD just to the south of NJ are anonymous. Has any bad publicity/corruption come out of those states? In this age of lots of crazies out there it is time for the winner to have a say so.

Jamaican lottery winner wears 'Scream' mask to hide identity
He was right, the crime rate in Jamaica is very high. Lottery winners shouldn't be required to do a press conference. In the UK, winners automatically have the right to remain anonymous, which the vast majority do. UK Lottery winners, who do opt for publicity, end up regretting their decision.

Alabama lawmakers provide insight into upcoming push for state lottery
Just an idea: If they were to pass lotto legislation, consider making AL an anonymous state. True, transparency is a huge issue with lotto, but it's an idea. I would consider crossing the border if that were the case!

NY Gov Cuomo vetoes bill that would have allowed lottery jackpot winners to remain anonymous
Cuomo said you could still remain anonymous with a llc. Wonder if one could set up a llc, install your legal rep as an officer of the llc, have she/he claim the money on behalf of llc and then dissolve the llc months later? The winner would have a separate private agreement with the attorney to turn the money over once the initial taxes are taken out.

South Carolina's billion dollar mega millions ticket
Secrecy allows corruption to thrive.
That's true, but outside of the movies there aren't a lot of conspiracies that involve lots of people and still stay secret. IMHO the lottery should check on winners exactly the same way whether they're allowed to remain anonymous or not, with the only difference being what information is released to the public. Being anonymous, whether specifically allowed or an option by claiming as a trust, certainly shouldn't permit somebody to claim without the lott
