Woman sues TV station over lottery numbers error
yes correct. And sadly folks have sued for the most ludicrious things thinking they will be able to retire from the awarded amount. The reality is this particular allegation holds little merit to make its way to an award, unless its a WARD in a mental place. :)
This is a simple lesson, validation thru the proper protocal is the only way a ticket can be claimed a winner. Dont play if you dont know the rules. ANd if you know the rules then play on :) Ignorance is no excuse.

$151 Million: Lottery riches up for grabs in Mega Millions game
i also would like to get my mom to retire... she works 2 jobs also plus my dad is not in good health, so when i can not be here she has to be in two places at once. i want to win for them if i won the 5+0 with out a megaplier i would just give it to them... if i won the 1 million i would spit it with them! 500K before taxes is good enough for both of us!
However, the entire jackpot would be my chance to really help them. i would form a trust and give them half! they can really be set for the

Disputed $50M lottery jackpot partially paid out
Wow, receiving $1M less than you thought must be really painful (at several levels) and enraging! As the one woman interviewed said, it means the difference of retiring or not for each of the 19 lottery monies receivers. Being free to retire to otherwise is the the reason why most people play the net multi-million dollar lump-sum lottery games for.
Having 11 of one's coworkers standing in the way of one's early retirement ... wow, the experience!
Also is a BIG headache for Bell and anyone

777 & 756
Last night 5677 n GA. That's the reason I need to step my game up. If I would just take the proverbial time to learn how to play online, I'd probably retire this morning, nah, no doubt about it, I would have retired this morning. Don't get me wrong, I would have completed my calendar but after Aprll, I would've thrown a huge LP shin-dig so we could all meet. Ok, back to reality!
On another note? Where is that 7177 and 7277 (2771 2711) I know that DOMINO is floating somewhere?

Has Anyone On This Site Actually Won A Big Lottery Prize??
Something life changing, something that would let you retire if you wanted to.

As far as winning a jackpot of a million or multi-millions, to hit a jackpopt like that and post it on the internet would be insanity and asking for trouble.

If you won 200,000 would you still go shopping?
Right there with ya ridge. I sell furniture and I get so tired of dealing with people. I sold a couple curio cabinets to an older couple Saturday, and I felt sorry for the lady. She wanted them for an early Christmas gift and he was downright mean to her. He let her buy them but, man what an a--hole. She was embarrassed by the way he talked to her and to me.
I don't like shopping, phones, or people too much anymore either.
I am ready to retire.......all I need is a few million $. LOL.

A National Lottery During Our Lifetime
Our state lotteries are substantial and rewarding, depending upon which lottery is being played and the payout. However, do you forsee a national lottery in our lifetime -- 10 or 20 years from now? Who knows, a national lottery could generate billions of dollars (imagine someone winning a billion dollar lottery)? The majority of us are impressed when a person wins 100 million dollars or more, of course, that's enough money to retire -- even after taxes.
Quite frankly, I don't think I'll live
