Substantial interface changes to Lottery Post
I have been very busy over the past several weeks programming a brand new menu system for Lottery Post. It has become essential to do because the old system was almost unusable on many mobile operating systems notably Apple's iPhone/iPad (collectively called iOS ) and Android devices. The old menu system was something I had purchased, and which I have continued to purchase year after year. The company that made the menu has stopped producing meaning updates for at least a year now, because th

Vt. Lottery computer glitch creates extra winners
TRUECRITIC: A test of the terminal could be any kind of thing printed and is likely not in a form of a playable ticket, especially the barcode info.. Any kind of printed pattern is a binary response. The tickets were printed on demand, just like a report. A bigger question is the correlation between the error and the Winning set drawn. A very unique event. There are no retractions on the article that a lottery official was misquoted. The man was quoted and it stands. I say the idea th

LP Users favor Win XP over Vista and IE 8 over Firefox-why?
Just adding a few comments because I like to dispell myths and educate on the topic. Obviously, as the developer of this site, this topic is of primary importance to me. (What my visitors are using on their computers.) In no particular order: More and more people are becoming technically-proficient these days, but the fact is that this web site caters to everyday folks , not gearheads . (Gearhead is a term of endearment, as I consider myself one!) Everyday folks tend to care much less abo

Do you Believe Lotteries are Random?
Random numbers? By chance or not? Don't they have from 3 to 5 predraws before each real draw and don't they change ballsets and draws machines to make sure that the draws-numbers are random or to make sure that they are not random? With so many past draws and predraws, by now they must have videos of all the straight pick 3 numbers several times over, is this one of the reasons for having the predraws? What do those numbers mean, random or not random? Is this the first time that the
