Is the Millionaire Raffle ADM Hacker Proof?
Well, it's now a week since my original post, and we're still not sure whether Pennsylvania's Millionaire Raffle is secure or not. I forgot that LotteryPost serves a broad audience and many here may not be familiar with PA's offerings. Something you should know when judging my skepticism is that PA clearly spells out at their site that the Raffle tickets are retrieved by all the outlets from ONE central server, in SEQUENTIAL order. I leave it up to you to figure out the significance of that fact

Store owner jailed one year for stealing $5.7M lottery ticket
A former convenience store owner who cheated a customer out of a $5.7 million lottery ticket has been sentenced to a year in jail. Hafiz Malik, 63, sat quietly as Ontario provincial court Justice Rebecca Shamai pronounced sentence Tuesday at Old City Hall courthouse in downtown Toronto. Dressed in a black T-shirt and grey slacks, the white-haired Malik listened intently to the judge's reasons. In December, Malik had pleaded to fraud. He admitted to tricking a customer, Lorraine Teich

Attention State Lottery Officials - Here's What The Players Want
We don't want pre-tests (tantamount to pure fraud). We don't want computer-generated lotteries. We don't want the employees pushing the button for the balls to come out on their own time and discretion. That's all I can think of for now.

House Sitting
If I hit the Mega Millions...... Is it illegal, tax fraud, to buy a dozen houses and pay members of your family monthly to live in them as house sitters? I was thinking of a way to buy all my family members a house and give them $3,000 a month without paying a ton of money in taxes. The houses would be in my name and a lot of people with a lot of properties do hire house sitters.

North Carolina: 2/1 - 2/28/2010
I told you before I'm not that easily fooled..this seems like a very clear indication of fraud/cheating...NCEL already has an incredible HOUSE EDGE due to very low payout/odds. NCEL should have kicked that number out in thier pre-draws so as not to look like it was cheating/tampering,but did they? Helll no they didn't because they know most if not all people dont play based on 1/1,000,00 odds...and who does? Like Ive said over and over again its theoretically impossible for that to happen.

Finding a lottery ticket
rdgrnr, I never heard of any snake handlers in Nacodoches, LOL. You might get lost in TX. You are right about ol' Willis. Tx Lottery told his lawyer they paid out and that's it. The authorities recovered about $365k and are trying to get the rest, but the lottery comm is not involved with that. Of course, he didn't lose his tic, a clerk committed fraud. But he was careless and didn't sign his tic, and trusted a stranger.
