When do you buy your QP's?
Add Chicago to that sentiment- not only Chicago, but Chicago, QP's, and oh so often purchased at a White Hen Pantry. I posted a thread a few days back about Doubting QP's? - up top that time, 11 out of 13 of the Little Lotto jackpots posted (of the latest 13 hit) were QP's Here's last night's: LITTLE LOTTO PRIZE PAYOUTS FOR SATURDAY, MARCH 31, 2007 WINNING NUMBERS: 12 - 22 - 23 - 30 - 34 PLAYER(S) MATCHING 5 OF 5 NUMBERS INCLUDING SUBSCRIPTION WIN

Quik Pic observations from a new LP member...
Hi all, I have lurked here for a while, and decided to get a membership and post! I hope you all will welcome me in my first attempt! :) Regards QPS, I once saw a thread that made one seriously doubt use of them. A poster said his/her coworkers bought 300 USD worth of tickets I think for Powerball. I ssume the same types of algorythyms are used in this game as for Mega Millions. They went to different conveinence stores, in the same general county area with several in the group getting a s

Ontario Lottery nixes Bingo scratch tickets
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has hired outside auditors and is working with the printer, as it investigates a complaint that winning cards on two editions of a Super Bingo game could be identified without scratching them, a spokesperson has confirmed. In the meantime, the corporation has recalled more than one million of the scratch-and-win games and will destroy them, according to OLGC spokesperson Don Pister, who noted 19.5 million game cards had been printed. They were dis

Record Jackpots excluding current Mega
It happens rarely with very large jackpots that the probability for a rollover falls below 50%. We may see such a jackpot now, if more than 122M tickets are sold - and I think that this will be the case. However the single most probable number of winners if there is a winner will still be one. Here is the probability distribution for numbers of winners if sales were one quarter of a billion dollars: 024.10% 134.30% 224.40% 311.57% 44.12% 51.17% 60.28% 70.06%

system I bought for 25.00
Good one !!! I created a system and it pretty much guarantees you a 60-70% chance in winning. After weeks and weeks of testing my system on 3 number lottery in FL, and using past numbers to predict future picks, I've found a common theme to my numerology madness as I sat there at my laptop at the kitchen table till the early morning hours with my eyes burning , my calculator cranking and wearing down many pencils. You may not think 60-70% is that great, but if I told you you could

6 Disturbing Lottery "Trends"
My 4 cents (price increase from 2 cents): 1) Computerization is done 1. to reduce staff and cost and 2. to try to make drawings as mathematically random as possible to ensure fairness. I DO NOT LIKE such games and I rarely if ever play them until/unless I come up with algorithms that can beat them. The Lottery should provide software or something that players can use the same RNG (perhaps installed in the terminals) which would still be fair but this way you're using the same thing to pick wi

Pick 5 beta testers wanted
Steve As you can and have time try to learn how to program filters little by little. Numbers by position of course have to do with the DECADES, that fall by position as you know. By looking at past draws you get an idea of that. As those games divide prizes between winners I don't like to talk about filters for those games. Besides at this time as you said you might not be able to make some kinds of programs. I would advice to first try to work on designing pick 3 filtered whee

'Arizona 9' claims half of $94.1M Powerball lottery jackpot
Cheers and shouts filled the lobby of the Arizona Lottery Thursday morning as the terminal rang out We are in the Money, signaling the validation of the winning Powerball jackpot. That's when we knew it was really real, said Tanya Poirier, one of the Arizona 9, a group of seven co-workers and two spouses who shared one-half of a $94.1 million Powerball jackpot for the Wednesday, Nov. 1, drawing. Their half of the jackpot came to $47,050,000. Arizona Lottery Executive Director Art Mac

PA Cash 5 - Matrix Too Small?
a game that gets won all the time ? Did I MISS something there? Aren't lotto games SUPPOSED to be won??? So WHAT if it's won all the time ? (which by the way it's not!) WHY change something that's NOT broke? Why on earth should we add more numbers to the field, Jimmy? Smaller number field games are winnable-- hello! Moreover, they encourage people to play, and they give them hope. In addition, they are much more fun (unless a player prefers scratchoffs). If you want a 5/
