Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $34 million sold in Calif.
A La Quinta liquor store sold the $34 million winning ticket for the Mega Millions lottery, the California Lottery announced Saturday.
Murray Morton, owner of La Quinta Liquor Delicatessen, believes the winner is a semi-regular customer.
I recognize the guy, but I don't know his name, Morton said by phone Saturday afternoon. I would need counseling if I won $34 million.
The winning numbers 27, 30, 36, 38, 45 and the Mega number 13 were announced Friday. Mega Millions is a mul

Killer said lottery cheated
Hi Everyone,
Great comments, thanks everyone!
I think the poor man (Beck) felt threatened and got pushed into the corner and I have no doubt that he was told to shut his mouth or else! And I think he turned that or else around on them.
He did expose some things about the lottery and of course the lottery officials would not be amused!
Was he really upset about the job position or again was he just trying to expose the lottery for the rats they are because he wan

Sales for new Texas Lotto starts today
Texas lottery players are saying buh-bye to the bonus ball.
Last night's $32 million jackpot Lotto Texas drawing was the last for the much-loathed little guy, who proved unpopular with players.
The Texas Lottery Commission voted Feb. 27 to scratch the unpopular bonus ball and return to better sales and better odds.
Lotto Texas will return to a matrix that was abandoned three years ago in which players may choose six numbers from among 54, with odds of winning the jackpot at 1 in 25.8 m

13 State Employees to Share $224 Million Powerball Lottery Jackpot
OK Chuck...so you're not high enough up the MUSL foodchain to get a bonus. Bummer! You deserve one.
Just a couple of points:
I don't want to hold the lottery to a different standard. I want to hold them to the same standard any other business is held to. Most notably truth in advertising.
The bottom line with me is this...It's clear Powerball doesn't want winners at the lower level. They want to advertise a great minimum prize but they also want to make sure nobody wins it. As

Powerball Back-to-Back Jackpots Set Record
I am so sick of this Powerball propaganda. The players got a major screwing last year after the matrix change and this nitwit spokesman comes out and says the changes really caught on? What a crock! It's far more likely the general public is absolutely clueless about the changes and is reacting to the bogusly inflated jackpots.
Imagine Joe and Josephine Schmuck sitting around the kitchen table having a conversation about Powerball:
Joe: Hey honey? Do you realize that last year they mad
