Colorado Lottery approves credit card purchases and online ticket sales
Terrible idea. Other states have legalized credit cards to play the lottery because they're greedy. Colorado should not join this club. If the lottery isn't bringing in enough money, the state needs to raise taxes or cut spending (preferably the latter), not fleece the population by dangling easy CC debt in front of them.

People think gambling is risky.
I agree. Taking chances in life has zero to do with gambling $. It sounds like you are trying to justify spending perhaps too much money gambling. Playing the lottery is for entertainment purposes only. Taking chances is about getting that education, going for that promotion, investing for retirement, getting off your behind every day. I can afford to spend a lot on the lottery but I do not. A.$5 megamillions ticket is not for me. Playing my $1 state cash 5 game when it is high is a good

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
But let's be honest. The Mega Millions jackpot almost reached $1 Billion even despite the numerous lottery players who protested against the $5 ticket price. Even if not as many people play Mega Millions after the price increase, when the jackpot reached a large amount, many people purchased at least one $5 ticket. Yes I know, you stopped playing Mega Millions after the price change. I even stopped playing Mega Millions because of the price increase. Currently, I am more focused on Powerball tha

Mega Millions jackpot closes in on $1 billion
I've heard players talk about waiting to get a good bang for their buck when they buy a lottery ticket but that never made much sense or difference to me. (That's probably because i didn't understand what they were taking about) To me, any type of lottery ticket a player might buy is a suckers bet anyway, so why would I care about getting a good value ? Do I want to win a couple million bucks? Hell yeah! That's why I bought the ticket in the first place. But I aint holdin' my breath whe

Mississippi Lottery halts Cash 3 triple payout promotion one week in
Apparently the Mississippi Lottery doesn't employ anyone that understands a pick 3 game. Especially when syndicates are spending millions in some states to buy every lotto game combination for a guaranteed jackpot with the only risk of splitting it was other winning tickets. Mississippi players could spend $1000 and get a guaranteed $500 win. Most states have limits on the total amount the will pay out, but doesn't change the win for anyone wagering $1000 before the limit was reached. Lo

Mississippi Lottery triples all Cash 3 prizes for November
i really wonder what their logic was when they came up with this promotion. some ideas: the ms lottery assumes that most players reinvest their winnings into buying more tickets, therefore the free money will just go back into the ecosystem. or... the ms lottery assumes that only a small fraction of players will make playing pick 3 their full time job and that the vast majority will not buy up all straight combinations every draw. i don't think the second one is a safe assumption.

The new Christmas $30 game has 5 top prizes of $1,000,000. $30 games always had $3MM top prizes. But the latest non holiday $30 card has 10 top prizes of $1.5MM. Odds of winning $1MM are 1:720,000 Compare that to the new non holiday $30 Scratcher Cash Spectacular. That has odds of 1:480:000 of winning $1.5MM - This is the best odds for a top prize for PA. Also the Holiday $20 scratcher has a top prize of $500K. $20 games were always $1MM top prize. However the odds of winning the top prize

Lottery Game Percentages
I'm looking for ideas on how to possibly make these Excel files better and eliminate lottery numbers by positions using the game matrix and the percentages by position. The example lottery game is the Cash4Life 5/60. Note: All 3 Excel files contain macros. I uploaded 3 videos to Youtube this morning: All 3 Videos are less than 10 minutes in length.
