Hello all, I hope that I am posting this in the right place. I am a complete beginner so please have some patience. I'm obviously not playing the game quite right. I wanted to bet on pairs and had this question. If I wanted to bet on 964, could I bet those on front, back, and split pair for that by using it three times? I've heard of people playing the same numbers multiple time but when I went in today the ticket would not read due to same numbers. Just trying to increase my chances. I'

What's with the payout structure on this game? Trifecta and wrong race time has odds of 1 in 1,321 and pays out around $500 on average. Exacta and correct race time has odds of 1 in 146,667 and only pays out about $80 on average. I'm not alone in finding this $2 game unappealing, it consistently has the lowest sales of any other CA game.
