Boney526, Please double check my calculations. If they're correct, it seems to me that the $3 Powerplay is a better bet than the $2 ticket, especially if you ignore the 5+0 and 5+1 Jackpots. The whole point of the exercise was to see if strategy A would yield more jackpots than strategy B. I won't speak for BobP, but I believe his point was to show the overall effect by using all 48 numbers on 8 lines. It could be used as a betting strategy trying to win a jackpot, but it's a terrible strategy trying to get multiple secondary prize wins because two of the lines by default will never match a number. I think that from now on, any poster on the T5 thread need to post a 4 number potential winner. Meaning that when you post, i dont want to hear how you cant believe how many odds have been occurring. You need to post a valid four number winner. So JP when you give an alert as in 7 8 10 21 , unless you are sure that 4/5 will score, then I think you are being USELESS!!!! And if you are wrong you need to be flogged! You only need 5 numbers to win, so a 25 number wheel, leave it at home!
