Getreal.. Casinos are def fun... I only play slots and the last time played $5 Wheel Of Fortune and hit the $300 spin(was hoping it was credits for $1500).. I remember sitting down at a Pawn Stars nickel machine the one day. I never watched the show, but enjoy the slot and hit a few hundred on it. Money can certainly go pretty quick. I find if I get up and walk around a bit, my money lasts longer (or go with someone and watch them play a bit).. Otherwise you can blow through $200 on a slot just

I was playing one ticket which ended up a loser and was ready to buy another one of the same and this woman sees me scratching it and looks right at it and me and proceeds to buy the same ticket from the same machine, mind you there are three machines in a row and like six slots of $30 tickets. so she snipes it and leaves the store. I didn't say a thing but was like what the heck, so i'm thinking it's a new book so if she didn't get the winner the third ticket might be a good one, and it was

I was at Giant today and looked over at a lady who was buying alot of tickets(I was at the Redbox). She said it was for her twin daughters birthdays. Told her I am a gambler, so I don't think differently of people who buy alot... She wanted my help in picking out tickets. I told her the $10 Frenzy's are good, but she only had $10 left to split. Kicking myself for not handing her a $20 and telling her to buy 2 of them as my gifts to them.. Hopefully they won something on my choices. It was the sa

In sync with the machine ? Feelings before a win...
I don t think it s your imagination because I have heard stories of winners, where they mention that a feeling came over them as they walked by a slot machine. So, they decided to play the machine and after a few pulls they win. Later, they tell the story that it was as if the machine was talking to them. They felt a pull to play or a magnetic draw to sit and play.
I have heard many times from those around. They become one with the machine. They study the sound of the cues and pitches of the

What is your favorite manufacturer or slot machine game?
I like the classic Diamond series of slots by IGT (Double Diamond, Triple Diamond, Deluxe variants etc.)
They are simple but have some of the best payout programs in the casino, at least according to an analysis I did several years ago. Last time I visited I hit $300 on my 2nd spin, and $150 on another machine of similar type.
I haven't played video slots but hear they make the hold more bearable due to the elevated entertainment value

General question on lottery drawing procedures
Re: Slot machines.
In the old days, the machines had gears with a certain number of 'stops' on them, usually nine.
On a machine with three windows the combinations were 9 X 9 X 9. Some of the old time players could actually 'time' a machine, that is if the first two windows showed like symbols they could 'time' the pull on the third window and get a payout. Sounds out there but we had a boxman at one casino that when an old 5 cent machine was put in he told us he put a down payment o

MINDBLOWING Friday and Saturday with GRT !! I hit one of my fav Publix at B Ridge/Beneva (HEY GIB THANKS FOR THE COMP!) - and pick up 8 GRT's at the counter then 8 GRT's from top bin at the machine. So that winds up my Friday - what I'm about to tell and SHOW you next is uncanny/weird but it happened! I'm down in Venice all day Saturday - about 20 miles south of me - I hit this one d

Jenn. Is Mohegan the one with the golf course? I know a few people down my way that go up to that one. Once I am able to golf again, I wouldnt mind going up there and spending the night and hit the casino. To me the casinos are alot more fun. I am not a table guy like James.I mainly don't understand them well enough except blackjack. I play the slots and have fun doing it. I will generally play a machine to a decent amount, cash out and stick the receipt in my right pocket. I will grab another $

Got scared and put a $500 bet down instead of $1K. should of put $1K as I got a blackjack right away. placed another bet for $250 and got 20 against 18. you think i would quit but i said im not driving 1 hour for 2 minutes of play. proceeded to lose $700 on slots...... then won $500 back on BJ and left.
slots were terrible. esp the $25 machine with the butterflies. did not hit a thing on it...... i did see 1 guy hit $1100 next to me but he was hitting the button so hard waiting to spin again

Guess it was the whole gift idea of not giving them a potential zero.lol I would play a $50 one to say I played it, but no way could I chase. Even at the casino in slots, I never venture over the $1 machine. Guess one day I should try one of the big $ slots to see what happens. Guess the $100 per pull doesn't pay $20 guaranteed back:)
