Maddogs Powerball Challenge 9/30
MM I'm clueless.
PB - I would expect 3 of the numbers to come from the first 3 games, whereas 2 months ago I would not have thought that so much.
I can handle having 5 numbers to choose from in the prior 3 games each, and I can handle some singles (10-12), it's the lack of ANY 4-number games, and the shortage of 3-number and 2-number games that buck my 'systems', I don't have the choices I need to pick the way I am used to picking.

Pencil & paper, day by day vs backtesting
First, If there were bulletproof systems guaranteeing a win, then the lottery would not exist.
Second, if I had a winning theory, would I tell you ?
Third, I feel I have a fantastic theory, I just can't afford to play it the way it has to be played because it takes more $$$$ than I care to part with (on average, about $80-160 a drawing), and even though I believe 100% in my 'system', I also am smart enough to know that no system is foolproof enough to bet the farm on. I just w

describe how you got started with playing the lottery
My lottery adventure started when I was 18 (about 15 years ago..UGH!). I started off by occasionally playing the Ohio Super Lotto with dreams of striking it rich of course that s yet to happen.
It wasn t until a few years later that I discovered my obsession with the daily numbers game. I was at a local bookstore that had a small countertop rack of lottery related material. The rack featured Pick 3 and Pick 4 number sheets that listed the last year s results along with some future astrol

Numbers - obsession?
Coin Toss, good poll.
When I first started this game seriously about 7 years ago I did become obsessed with pick 3/4 digits to the point of dreaming about them and seeing them in every license plate. Thankfully, after a prolonged losing streak in those games that obsession has ebbed somewhat Now I dream more about systems than numbers...when I see the numbers manifest themselves during the day and they fit with what I came up with during morning coffee it's mildly encouraging.
This game

What is a 'Lottery System' Poll
Quote: Originally posted by Littlemanjen on July 6, 2006 I'm sorry, but there is no system or method to winning a 6 ball jackpot. It is luck, plain and simple people. Otherwise, where are the winners here on this, the king of systems and methods board? Nowhere! I mean to disrespect no one, but all the systems on here make my head spin. By the way Rip Snorter, always love your posts.
Playing all the possible combinations of any game will win the jackpot, pick 6, 5, 4 or 3, it makes no diff

Powerball theories

V-tracs for Powerball? I suppose it must be so, since the thread-label is 'Powerball Theories'.
I'd only been familiar with v-tracs as a pick 3, pick 4 tool. The folks using it seem to be doing middling well on th

Spawn Origins of Pick 3 numbers that produce hits for many systems.
I have found a wrapdown or rundown that will give you the number in the next draw. It seems that the wrapdown spawns or gives birth to the numbers that come out in the next draw. It seems the varoius systems on this site track the numbers from this particular wrapdown. That is why Ambily' shift system works so well, and Tntea V-tracs, and Fibbonaci's Pairs, and etc...The number is always in this cluster. Now sometimes it may not, but I say always because i have see it always come out in all pres

Agent provacateurs
I don't know why lottery agents would hang around much on here, as they have their own ways of testing their draw machines and procedures. They are concerned that the games remain fair and entirely based on luck so that everyone has an equal chance no matter how smart they are. The problem is that, under those conditions, the win/loss ratio is $1 won for every $2 spent, less than that if subject to taxes. The only games worth playing are where the prize is enough to change your life and that you
