Jim and Jeff, I haven't got a reply to my email yet, but I'm tired of waiting on it. I'm going to believe that the cash value is approximately 40-50% of the lump sum as stated on the FAQ page. If the current cash value is 60%, then I think it's a result of higher than normal ticket sales. Jeff keeps saying the payouts are low, but he doesn't know how low or high the sales were either, something you just can't do. Hey Floyd, First let me say that as a rule I admire your posts. They are generally well thought out...well reasoned and well written. However, when it comes to the doings of the Hoosier Lottery reason (IMHO) does not apply. Your point is well taken. I have been estimating the Hoosier Lottery's sales per draw as well and my figures are very close to yours. we can have these things without a lottery win. A lottery win speeds up things alot. But point is that if you set goals and work towards things whilst waiting for a lottery win and don't get crazy with buying tickets you can achive those things just the same. remember buying 2 tickets only makes your PB odds 2 in 80000000 not 1 in 40000000...... you buy 15 PB ticks and its 15 in 800000000 and so on.
