Is Powerball just going to rot away?
Fun fact: your odds of winning either of the big jackpots are only slightly better than your odds of being struck by lightning on the day of the drawing.

Is Powerball just going to rot away?
Who cares? Most people don't play until the jackpots reach a billion anyway.

Virginia lottery jackpot winners can stay anonymous, starting in July
And the funny thing is PB MM minimum jackpots are $40 million. But they did the right thing IMHO by passing this.

Winner of $1.5 billion Mega Millions jackpot has come forward

South Carolina lottery winner where are you? $1.5B still unclaimed, and clock is ticking
Correct me if I'm wrong, though I do remember reading that QP historically has won more of the big jackpots than that of folks picking their own numbers.
Don't know about others, but when I call the # in bed to check sans tickets nearby I get a strange warm fuzzy feeling and it means nobody won it. Been incorrect with the new jackpots though. This time off by $2 million. Oh well.

Rush of Mega Millions lottery sales prompts surprise jackpot increase
New York did not win any jackpots in 2018 so you figure that they were due. There were only five winning tickets last year and no shared jackpots.
No Mega Millions jackpot winners from So Cal since April 2017 so the Southland is due. And no one in Southern California has won the Powerball since 2016. We are due.
