Fooled by Randomness
Jimmy Nerves are fine, just doing the same as you in wasting time taking a few cheap shots. These are the best definitions I could find. Explain where I fall into the gamblers fallacy using the definition taken from the website you refer to most. I do not use deviations from expected behaviour for anything never have never will. Monte Carlo Fallacy or the Gamblers Fallacy #1 The belief that if deviations from expected behaviour are observed in repeated independant trials o

Gap Strategy - Powerball - 0821
I have a workout I call Gap Strategy' that I have been working on for several years. No jackpots, just small wins. Here are my Powerball plays for 0821. My data suggests that 3 of the 5 number groups will show. Specifically B (10-19), D (30-39) and E (40-49) The data also suggests the following numbers could be in the winning combination: 12.14.15.30.32.39.42.45.46 The LS2004 wheeler suggests the following combinations: 14.30.32.45.46 + 35 12.15.30.39.46 + 28 1

Statistically Speaking - QP's and PP's
Couldn't the whole Quick Pick / Player Pick (System) controversy be solved with statistics? According to the latest back and forth: Quick Picks account for 70% of the tickets sold and 70% of the winning tickets. Player Picks account for 30% of the tickets sold and 30% of the winning tickets. That outcome would be and is in accordance with the odds. My question then is this: If one method of play is better, wouldn't it's winning percentage fare better than it's sales percentage

Why do people play QP's?
Tenure here?!!! AT LP?!!!! LMAO http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenure Under the tenure systems adopted as internal policy by many universitiesand colleges, especially in the United States and Canada, tenure is associated with more senior job titles such as Professor and Associate Professor. A junior professorwill not be promoted to such a tenured position without demonstrating a strong record of published research, teaching, and administrative service. One cost of a tenure system is th

What's with NY Sweet Million??
Here is the NY Lottery response to my question regarding the lack of Sweet Million winners: Thank you for your e-mail. It is still true that for $1, the Lottery's new Sweet Million game offers the best odds of winning $1,000,000. The odds of 1: 3,838,380 to win the jackpot of $1,000,000 cash is over 3 times better than the average $5 scratch off game, 6 times better than the odds to win the Lotto jackpot and over 45 times better than your odds to win the Mega Million

Maine Gov. nudged toward approval of Mega Millions
Keno and table games also on the radar for legislators Maine may get another big jackpot lottery game, Mega Millions, if lawmakers approve a proposal discussed by the Appropriations Committee on Wednesday. More lottery games is something we will definitely look at, said Sen. Bill Diamond, D-Windham, co-chair of the panel. I think there is some support, and concerns, on this committee for keno. Diamond said Maine already is deeply involved in gambling and another lottery game is not re

Maybe the only way to make a Profit at Pick3: Going for Doubles...
I ve noticed something...Pick3 Doubles play every 4 drawings or withing 4 drawings, meaning every other day (there are 2 drawings per day)...on the states that have them twice a day... If you was to compressed the doubles into: 1 and 6= 1 2 and 7 = 2 3 and 8 = 3 4 and 9 = 4 5 and 0 = 5 But you dont compressed them to play them that way...Now you mak the difference between 1 double and its subsequent...for instance if: 33 play today and tomorro 99 play they will be: 3 and 4 a
