I realize that you're incapable of ever learning how it all works, but I'm still puzzled that after we've told you about 50 times you still don't understand how thoroughly you have wrong. The bizarre geometric progressions you see in your confusion don't exist, and none of the people who have it right have ever said that it does.
I understand that boards have more lurkers than members and thatpeople read these threads thinking, these guys know how to cut the odds down , by wha

New Jackpot Winners
Over the last week, we have seen Powerball and Mega Millionswon. There are a total of 5 new minted Jackpot Millionaire Winners. My hopes and prayers is that they will do weel by their new fortunes and also their families and some less fortunate people if they so chose to do so.
But I have to tell you, I am so not feeling this new winner from Maryland. See below! Before the commission headquarters opens he is out in front of camera's. Certainly it is an assumption that he doesn't have a

4 tickets win $330 million lottery jackpot
The odds of winning the estimated $330 million Mega Millions jackpot were one in 176 million.
But lottery officials said early Saturday that four people one each in Maryland, New Jersey, Texas and Virginia did just that.
In addition to the grand prize winners from Friday night's drawing, 36 players matched all five numbers but not the Mega Ball number. They will receive second prizes of $250,000 each.
Another 215 players matched four numbers, plus the Mega Ball number - good for thi

So you have the winning ticket, now what?
First the disclaimer...I'm not an attorney. You would be well advised to consult one instead of taking what I have to say as gospel.
Second...I live in Indiana so the information I present is relevant to citizens of Indiana and out of state residents who win money on the Hoosier Lottery. It may or may not be applicable to your state.
Here's what my research has uncovered:
1. When you go to Lottery Headquarters with your winning ticket to claim your prize there will be a validation pro

Kentucky Lottery has record revenues
The Kentucky Lottery Corp. had a record $744 million in revenues, or total ticket sales, in the fiscal year ending June 30, according to year-end figures.
The brisk sale of tickets for interactive, scratch-off games offset a decline in tickets sold for online, or computerized, games, including Powerball, Pick 3 and Pick 4.
Those sales suffered, in part, because there was only one large Powerball jackpot, which was hit at $254 million last January. Some tickets for the interactive games se

Down on his luck, Florida man wins $33M lottery jackpot
West Palm Beach resident Ezequiel Perez has had his share of tragedy in recent weeks. His father died early Monday morning in Cuba. His home was heavily damaged by a fire earlier this month.
On Saturday night, he got some good news.
Perez, 51, of West Palm Beach, was the winner of Saturday's $33 million Florida Lotto jackpot.
He bought his Quick Pick-winning ticket Saturday at a Lake Worth supermarket and hit the 1-in-23 million chance.
Perez wasted no time claiming his winnings, acc

Ontario Lottery security chief steps down; investigation underway
A vice-president of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation is taking a paid leave of absence while Toronto police try to determine if he was in a conflict of interest by working at the lottery and the OPP at the same time.
The leave takes effect immediately, the lottery corporation announced Thursday.

First year not as profitable as predicted
Now a year old, the North Carolina Education Lottery is meeting its goal of keeping residents from crossing the border to buy tickets but failing to reach financial expectations initially touted by lawmakers and Gov. Mike Easley.
The lottery has set aside $220 million in profits for state education programs since the first tickets were sold March 30, 2006, removing North Carolina's label as the only East Coast state without the games.
Easley,
