Rolldown vs. Rollover
I had an idea for a new Pick 5 game. I can't decide if I like jackpots that rollover or one that rolls down to the lower levels if it isn't won. I came up with a corny idea to combine both into one game. You take a standard pick 5 game and you add a special drawing of some kind to determine if the jackpot will rollover to the next drawing or rolldown to the lower levels assuming it isn't won. The same rule could be applied in the unlikely event that a lower tier prize isn't won either (4 of 5).

Chaos-Order Duality
Before I start, I ask that you clear your mind of your existing perception of order and chaos. I can see this new concept is slowly pulling you into a paradoxical like state. Just sit back and take few breaths, haaa-ahhh, and read. Also, there are additional posts to come that need to be explained; they help in better understanding of this new concept.
First, the example I gave at the beginning is an over simplified example. The first selected set {1, 2, 3, 5, 7} and the remaining set {4, 6,

Neural Networks
Hypersoniq is right - the scientific and mathmatical groups will never acknowledge that it is possible to predict randomness.
Fortunately, scientists and mathematicians never have to acknowledges anything but facts. The facts are no ones has ever shown that a random event can be predicted. I doubt if anyone has ever been able to consistently pick all the winning numbers in any game with even 5% of the possible outcomes because most game have payouts that would make that profitable even if

what would one do if they won 34 million
Are you asking why did your sister change after winning millions in the lottery? If so, she has just had the shock of her life winning a huge jackpot. She will need family and friends to keep her grounded. You are likely wondering why if she has won this money why hasn't she done this or that with her money. Let her calm down from the shock of the win then she will be more likely to be able to make decisions as to what to do with the money. However this may cause tension in the family because

Setting a trust for anonymity: how does it work?
Sure, but what I meant to ask is, how do you go about the specifics? For instance, what type of trust is preferable? (there are several types, as you likely know...), do you just hand you winning ticket to the lawyer (or trustee)? you know, we are talking about entrusting a person you just met with a document worth several million dollars... Exactly this sort of practical questions...
It would be very interesting to hear from those who have invested some time researching this matter and prep

The odds of both neither, just one.
Note that the expectation value for MM is over 1. These is a very rare event for large odds lotteries and means that this is a rare occassion where the lottery is a good bet.
An expectation value is the ration of returns to the probability of receiving that return. My calculation includes effects related to the possibility of more than one winner, but it does not include taxes. Lottery expectation values have never been over 1 including the effect of taxes.

First total eclipse of the moon in 3 years to occur Saturday night
LONDON (AP) - The moon will turn shades of amber and crimson Saturday night as it passes behind the Earth's shadow in the first total lunar eclipse in three years.
The eclipse will be at least partly visible from Asia to the Americas, although those in Europe, Africa and the Middle East will have the best view. Lunar eclipses occur when Earth passes between the sun and the moon, blocking the sun's light. The event is rare

Lottery winner followed careful spending plan
Just for kicks, I crunched the numbers in the event Brad Duke were to allocate 100% toward aggressive investments which has already returned 230% in the past year and a half.
Within 9 years, he would be worth in excess of $167 Billion while reaching $25.714 Trillion by the age of 59. That would certainly make both Bill Gates and Warren Buffett seem inferior.

Time for change
I think that's a great question.
I have been saying for years now that some state is going to suddenly realize that turning back to real lottery drawings is going to be a major event that brings in a surge of new revenue. You'd think with all the lotteries hurting right now -- and even thinking of doing the unthinkable and SELLING the lottery -- that they would kick this idea around. Instead of selling the lottery, how about doing something for the players that will pay them back with extra
