I don't think MM and PB are rigged because if they were, people will be getting the numbers before it goes up to a lot of $$$. Most of the time pple buy tickets at the last minute before the closing time, that is. The only reason why CA/NY usually wins is that most of them are high-rollers and when if they bet they really mean to win. Actually, that's where the lottery gain the most.

The fact of the matter is, that you choose to believe that the lottery isn't biased, and or rigged. If it was truely random, the same states wouldn't be winning the MM or PB constantly.

some feel lottery is rigged. what can be done about it. until losers who are prevented from knowing the system cant overide it it will still happen..

It's hard to say it is rigged but I don't think it is true random number picking. I too noticed that the second place 2 tickets wins were won in California, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, and New York, the normal winning states. But, I have to say Pennsylvania was on a roll as far as having alot of wins vs. other states that normally have no winners at all. I play more of my own numbers vs. qp's and my own chase drawing to drawing numbers.

The only advantage is to the lottery officials and the game itself, not to the actual winner. The lottery gets to parade a poor sod with a hard luck story in front of the world as an example that anyone become a millionaire with an investment of only $1. Winners are used so the rest of us can dream of 'what if'. It's a good marketing ploy, but that's all it is. The 'we do it so people can know that there are actual winners' is bogus. Ever get the feeling CA Daily 3 is seriously rigged? Like there are certain numbers that never come for 4 or 5 years or more, and then there are numbers like 598 that get repeated quickly, etc.?
