For some, Illinois Lottery app makes ticket-buying too easy
When Illinois launched its first-in-the-nation lottery app in January, Matthew Ruder quickly signed up so he could jockey for jackpots with just a tap of the finger on his smartphone.
It's really easy to buy lottery tickets on the big draw days, said Ruder, 40, of Pekin in central Illinois. I can just log in to it, add some money to it, buy some tickets, and then I have them right there instead of stopping at the store. It just makes it easier sometimes.
State lottery officials hope the

N.C. Lottery rolls out online ticket sales
Some retailers worried
As he stood in line for lottery tickets Wednesday at C-Mini Mart #3 on Poole Road, David Auther said store patrons and workers know him by his lucky Pick 3 number.
Hey Warren, what's my number? he asked store owner Warren Liles, who stood behind the counter.
315, Liles replied.
Auther, who plays the lottery every day, said he won't be logging onto a computer to buy tickets as the N.C. Education Lottery launches an online subscription service Thursday. He enjo

A few prediction pointers.
It can't hurt to keep your predictions to yourself and also away from the Internet.
If you need a better selection of winning numbers that is if you need more numbers and patterns to show up on future draws, combine both midday and night draws.
If your prediction technique works better with separate midday and night then separate them.
Is there any such thing as random or lottery random? I don't think so, for every action there is a reaction, things don't just happen. Is the Universe in

6/49 14 Million Combinations narrowed down to 500 -8000 combinations -Its possible!
Hello Ricklou good day, I respect what you have done to attempt to eliminate some of the numbers to come up with the winning numbers.
So I would like to respond to your posting as well.
Do you play the lottery with a system, yes
Do you randomly pick your numbers? yes some of them not all, the nice thing about the online games is that no one has to pick all six numbers they can pick 1 and let the computer pick the rest, or pick 2 numbers and let the computer pick the rest on th

Lawmakers going after unclaimed lottery money
So a guy walks into a gas station, buys a scratch-off, wins a few bucks, gets distracted with some fool thing and eventually puts the lucky ticket through the wash in his Wranglers. It happens. No big deal.
But for state lawmakers in a tough budget year nationwide, the unclaimed prizes are adding up to a tempting pot of cash.
It's something we've seen an increased interest in this year, said Jon Griffin, a policy associate at the National Conference of State Legislatures in Washington.

Mass. co-workers split $50M Powerball jackpot
The two co-workers had a ritual for the past 10 months. She would buy two Powerball tickets, write their names on the back, and then give him a copy.
It may have seemed a modest indulgence. The longest of long shots.
But on Wednesday night, it paid off big-time with more than $11 million for each of them.
Rosa DeLeon, 52, of Arlington and Reginald LeBlanc, 54, of Lexington, who work at the Costco in Waltham, bought a $50 million Powerball ticket at a gas station in Lexington.

Can dreams reveal winning numbers (Story)
Below is an article i read a few minutes ago, and what interested me was at one point where she said fasting made her images more accurate. It's near the end of the article. Enjoy.
Every once in a while the news media reports on how a state lottery jackpot winner claimed to have seen the winning numbers in a dream. Time magazine profiled one such dreamer in December 2005, a 43-year-old Pakistani immigrant named Ihsanullah Khan, who drove a taxi cab in Washington and saw the numbers 2,4,6
