No Buying Tickets For Lottery Retailers
The idea is that if they buy tickets at their own store, it sometimes gives rise to cheating. A crooked agent will tell a customer, you won $3 and hand them $3, but the ticket is really worth $3 million. That could even be done with online tickets. You matched 3 of 5, pay $10 and really it's 4 or 5 of 5. They should be fully able to buy tickets elsewhere. The problem is this may be difficult to enforce. One crooked agent could be in cahoots with another and trade winning tickets. There is al

Cheating scratch-offs
You are type of scratcher the state wants... They want you to keep playing down to a loser ticket and leave.. YOu are leaving them with what you want.. Your $100..... it is that simple..
So what they allowed you to win $61... They know you will give it back.. They know if they gave you completely nothing for your $100 then you would quit right.. They want you hooked... line and sinker... They want you to think you can keep on winning and winning.. They could care less if you think you are che

Info On RNG'S
If it was not possible for people to increase their chances of winning perhaps there would be no reason to cheat, but even if they increase the odds against the players, some players can increase their own odds of winning, how can they control that other than by cheating?, the lotteries by now are aware that there are people who can win on games a lot more often than most others, a few members of LP seem to know how to win one or more lottery games a lot more often than they would if they bought

Retired auto worker, 2 children claim $314M Powerball lottery jackpot
I agree with both of you. Yes, interest rates are a bit higher, but I don't think that's the only reason. Isn't another reason the lump sum value is lower because PB changed the structure from even payments to gradual increases? That makes a big difference because the annuitant gets a much smaller check every year and, therefore, more money stays in the pot making it grow. So the final amount after 30 years is higher but the initial amount is considerably lower. IMHO this is cheating the pla

can someone here post me an example of a fake RNG lottery drawing?
I just wanted to point it out because some people seem to be making consiracy theories out of even the simplest method of trying to rig the lottery. Some people are thinking it's so easy to rig the lottery that just any lottery employee is allowed to walk into the room where the drawing computers are kept, access those computers themself, and leave the room without being detected at all. Although I'm not going to rule it out absolutely 100% because I don't work for the lottery and I don't know h

After a $100 Million jackpot win, how would you deal with family?
Good idea. LOL Believe it or not, I thought of that once! It would also include a privacy/secrecy agreement. I wouldn't worry too much about the $12,000 figure, especially if I had $100 million, but I'd be more concerned about word-of-mouth advertising. Hi. You probably don't remember me, but we met at your cousin's wedding 17 years ago. I just heard you won a big chunk of money!
In addition to the $12,000 annual exemption you can pay insurance premiums and qualified medical expenses

People thought i was crazy when i first joined LP and mentioned the street numbers were so much easier to hit. I even wrote a thread pertaining to this saying anytime i had narrowed my picks down to 4 numbers it was a guaranteed hit and boy did i get some replys calling it B.S. Not going to mentioned who was the main culprit but at least you know what i meant about the street numbers (for those that don't know; they are ill-legal to play). And to make things worse for us is the fact that they ca

If Your State Pre-Test's its Draws List it here
yeah..I kinda figured as much..They dont want anyone to be able to accurately track numbers and get an advantage that will cost them some money..that is all bull crap..they are intentionally messing up the NATURAL ORDER of arrangement of the numbers so you cant get track anything with consistence...There is no telling how many times we all have had the right numbers selected only to have them show in the pretest and lose money because of them idiots..
Then they will tell you we have to check
