when is the last time you cashed in a winning ticket?
Today....but all that did was mean I lost 3 bucks on my expediture of $5.00 Winning doesn't mean much as such. You have to cash in for more than you spent for it to be a happy event.

Help organizing a work pool and forming a contract
My brother and 6 other workers just decided to form a lottery pool for the powerball. So far they've all agreed to put in $4 twice a week and split the money. I wanted to help him form a simple method of running the pool and a contract to hopefully help in the event of a jackpot. Does anyone have a contract they'd like to share. I was thinking something along the lines of a one pager that they all sign when they pay for each drawing. Also copies of that page and copies of the tickets made a

Personal Numbers
This has evolved into a pretty good thread. I'm surprised that nobody bothered to rate it before now, so I just rated it as Excellent - 5 stars. Nothing changes the odds of hitting a jackpot, but my own experience has shown me that employing some systematic methods can result in cashing more and bigger tickets for the secondary prizes. As for the debate about whether or not the odds of a given combination being drawn again remain the same once they've been drawn, the answer is.... Yes,

Personal Numbers
FWIW, the winning numbers in MM have been all odd or all even only 4 times in the last 100 drawings, which is about 1 less than expected based on probability and pure randomness. Statistically, the departure is completely insignificant. Interestingly, all 4 of those results have happened since June, 30, a period on which we'd have expected the result to happen just over 2 times. 3 of them have happened since mid-August and 2 in the last 4 weeks. That means this would have been a bad period to b

hey truth don't take me the wrong way because i can be blunt sometimes and your ok but you gotta understand that yeah some people here may worry for years to come because this stuff affects our lifestyles.you got winners on here who can rake in the dough like it ain't nothing.i'm one of those people who has won thousands using my brain and my computer monitor and it was pretty damn easy.i don't look forward to working extra days and i'll never get used to it and i won't like it.this might kill m

Determining a Coincidence or Possible Trend
At the other end, an event that occurs much less than its expected frequency can be used as a system or filter too. Here is why some have a love/hate with RNG games. Remember the CA Derby game story? https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/112810.htm Good luck skill.

probability types
guesser, I agree we are doing somewhat similar things. I don't really chase numbers because I define the events using letters and in my programs I don't compare numbers I compare charcters for example I don't use 1=1 but 01 = 01 , the 01 could easily be AB or Bb the way my program works. In the final step I convert the letter characters to number characters based on the most recent drawings so the characters B or k could be any number. Good luck to you, I'm still trying to fi

The above observations about 26% of the time was just one example. Going the other way if one looks at the previous 16 drawings which usually covers 38-46 numbers, all the winning numbers are in that group 29% of the time and if you only include numbers that have hit 1-2 times, the pool is reduced to 26-40 numbers and have all the winning numbers 7% of the time. As Thoth suggests, the trick is to find an event that has a mathematical advantage by the number of times it occurs. I suspect the
