When was your last win ??
Thank you as well, ninja! One day, when I can afford to let my money grow enough, I'll be on Pick4, too. The payout and profit is so much better and much more worth while. Pick4 also allows you to play a lot less due to the amount of money won...you can do more with it. Right now, I have to play (3) times @ $1/number to make the same money @ .25/number on a Pick4 single play. As you know, the more you have to play, the more you increase chances of losing at some point no matter how well the syst

Would you take your JP winnings and invest it all by yourself?
You think Ogawa would have done better on his own? If he was too stupid to realize that he was getting bad advice then he's too stupid to have done a good job on his own. It's unlikely that he went in looking for safe conservative investments that would preserve his wealth but not increase it very much. If he was looking for ways to use his winnings to make a lot more there's no telling what kind of mistakes he would have made on his own.
If you're not stupid it's fairly easy to differentiate

Lottery winner sues advisors for poor policies
If I cleared $70 million my primary goal would be making sure it didn't lose value by putting it in conservative, but safe, investments. Some people would prefer to use it to make as much money as they could, and that might be this guy's plan. If that is his plan, borrowing money to buy real estate may be a very good strategy. Any increase in the value of the real estate will offset the interest on the mortgage, and it leaves most of the principal for other investments. If any of the property pr

$189 MILLION: Mega Millions jackpot rolls again
I hate to state the obvious, but if you're going to try and come across like a know-it-all, you better get your numbers straight. You say 30 rollovers, more than half a year which is not equivalent, so I have to interpret what you meant. And again you say $20M per draw ... works out to a billion a year which is correct if you only count 1 draw per week, not two.(52 versus 104)
Anyway, with that aside, I never said anything about the new MM matrix being inspirational, where do you get that fro

Illinois Lottery kicks off new 'Hit or Miss' game
The overall chances of winning something in both games is 22% so players can expect to have 1 winning ticket out of every 5. IMO, the problem is with the game is not the quantity of wins, but the quality of wins. I predict 20 All or Nothing lines in all four drawings every day and because my ID is at the bottom of the list, I see all the other All or Nothing predictors' results. The majority of the wins are $2 with several $10 winners, but very few $50 winners.
When you compare this game with

Post your scratch ticket results
Yes, luck is the #1 factor in coming out ahead. For the smaller prizes in a particular scratch off game with a guaranteed minimum per roll, each successive losing ticket in a roll does increase the chance of winning one of the smaller prizes (free ticket, price of the ticket, price of the ticket times 2, etc).
For the larger prizes that are sprinkled among hundreds or thousands of rolls, each successive losing ticket improves the odds only very slightly.
There was one guy buying a to

Would You Keep $123 Million in one bank account?
The only people more villified than the rich, are the rich who didn't earn it. So for all the little Lord Fauntleroys out there and lottery winners, John Q Public isn't going to bat an eyelash if things get bleak and one way for the country to get money is to gouge those that have much more than the average American.
I've seen enough people on this site alone thinking it's unfair for people to win large jackpots, because 'no one needs that amount of money'. Put unemployment up to 20% as it i

Lottery Scammers Out in Full Force
The past couple of weeks has seen a significant increase in email and phone scammers including many that use the You Have Won the Lottery scams. The lottery you supposedly have won may be your own state lottery, an overseas lottery, or a non-existent lottery you have never heard of.
These scams usually ask for upfront money to pay taxes and fees or bank account and personal information to transfer the funds to you .
Some of the scammers will also send you an official looking check to
