JoeBigLotto, Re: The Illinois Fireball, Northstar (now runs the IL lottery) is making these change to increase revenue for the lottery and Northstar. You're thinking like a player, of course, but they are thinking from their end foremost. Thus what you call the 'zunk draws.......the whole fireball idea, truth be known, was built around the 'zunk' draw. Every blank fireball is another $1 for Northstar, pure gravy.

By Todd Northrop There was no jackpot winner in the Saturday night drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery game, causing the grand prize to increase to an estimated $245 million for Wednesday's drawing. When you re-gen...place it in to word...but increase the size of your paper or it won't turn out right...you should be able to figure it out. That TX was beautiful....and the VA last night. Just compare the growth of the MM jackpots to PB with a minimum jackpot increase and it's easy to see less people are playing MM because of it. Without the secondary prizes, why even play for a smaller jackpot that probably won't be won. It looks like the current trend is to offer online games similar to scratch-offs where it's easy to get a portion of wagers back in smaller wins.
