Last month of excessive scratching
Well its possible. I have met people who play $1,000 per day ( after they hit like $500,000 ). And there was an article here about a lady who spent as much as $6,000 per day on scratch offs she was down to the tune of $2.3 Million after 2 years. She stole money to feed her habit.

Just-released Indians prospect cashes $1M lottery ticket
No, wrong order. According to this article, they must have you DURING your jackpot win. The release occurs soon thereafter. The smaller post-taxes win allows you to buy tickets to see the team if you are later so inclined!

Trying to find an old lottery system
Hello lottolaughs, I researched the Players Pick I saw the name Marian Petres, it was an infomercial in the 1990's, Lottery Combination Selector Kit. An entire article was written it was mentioned, I thought that would be the system to which Jobo18 was looking to find.

Worker skips office Mega pool, loses share of $319M
Under normal circumstances i would say that If the same folks played the pool every week, then I would hope the other 7 would chip in and throw this guy a bone, not millions but at a couple hundred thousand, but according to the article, since the pool participants varied from week to week, and that he USUALLY played, and not all the time, would indictate that nothing is owed to him. If that was the case, then the 7 folks would have to help out all the other part time players in that company as

2 men survive deadly casino bus crash, then board another
That was the scary part. I couldn't figure out the logic he was using (if any). I was more scared after reading that article because It really made me believe that there are nut cases out there who have no limits, conscious, loyalty..nuthing who just want SOME MONEY!!

Statistician cracks secret code behind lottery tickets
After reading this article, I don't think I'm nuts about something I've noticed here in PA anymore. On the $5 Crossword game (and quite possibly the $3 one), if any of the words on your crosswords has the letter Q in it, you win (or at least break even.). I don't think I've lost when I've had the letter Q in any of the words in the crosswords.

Bill dissolves Arkansas lottery panel
Many people may not like computerized drawings, but I doubt that's part of what he meant by problems with internal controls . Based on the article four legislatve comittees would be able to review things, but it says nothing about what they could actually do. It sounds like this could definitely increase legislative bureaucracy, but that's a lot different than having more oversight .

N.C. couple nabbed $1M lottery prize just before it expired
Some of the readers do not consider this article to be newsworthy, it's only a million dollars! Some of you may remember when a million dollars was a jaw droping event. Now, if the lottery ticket was worth...$200 million, there would be all kinds of negative comments. Anyway, the best of luck to the couple.
