LOL went to Publix earlier just as the UPS guy was there he was in a frenzy playing from every single bin in the machine and losing his arse!! On top of this he had the clerk printing out hundreds of Mega Millions quick picks. Weird guy. When he is winning he talks to me but when he is losing he doesnt say a word and just goes back and forth from the machine to the scanner scanning his wins, not even scratching the ticket. I figured to hell with this and left without buying anything. Got a good

Self Service Machines vs Retailers
Those are some really good points by all. Ive personally seen a cashier at Publix cherry pick from the counter after seeing a cutsomer scratch in front of them many loosing tickets. If you buy from the machine and want to get to your lucky number, you have to buy two tickets just to see where they are at and another to see if the count is going up or down. Many machines I have found are stocked with the remaining tickets from a half empty roll that didnt sell behind the counter so it will cut of

$205 MILLION: Promise of big jackpots met by new Mega Millions
i do not understand this lucky state theory. it cannot possible matter where a ticket was bought that makes it more probable that it will win. one would think that a state that sold more tickets than another would be more likely to have the winner. based on that everyone should head for the state with the highest population and buy your tickets there. but it doesn't matter. it only matters if you fill out cards that you mark the correct numbers on the card not where you do it. if you lazily ask

Went out Sat/Sun to my favorite Publix - didn't have time to drive around to my other spots - only GRT tix they had was in the machine - so I bought 5 from each bin and got this $500 - only other ticket I won was from the other bin for $50. Not too shabby !

Good morning. Congrats mrsd on you list win.
This guy just botched up my play this morning. I ended up spending $24.50 on just 2 numbers. I swear they never listen which is why I like marking my tickets and just handing it in to play.
When I walked in the store was empty but he was speaking with his fellow worker. He asked for my numbers and I said clearly 2020 $3 straight midday only . I waited for that to be done then, now give me the same number 2020, 50 cents box 6 times mid and eve .

I have had a little run of Meh luck recently. I sort of classify that as anything under $100. I won $50 on a Million Dollar Fortune ticket, $20 on the $20 one and $30 on a Lucky For Life. Good thing was that I only bought 3 tickets so something on all 3.
I found a Stater Brothers in a bit of a dingy neighborhood with a machine so I figured I would try it. I guess I will be returning.

I had to read your post over to know what you were talking about. In Colorado, there are a lot more words on the crossword ticket and you have to scratch every letter and also every letter in the group of letters you get to see if you get the words. There are probably like 30 words on top and bottom, so it'd be ridiculously hard to do it your way here. I understand how it'd be easier there though. There is a $10 crossword here, but only $3 and $5 bingos. I'm going to decide what to buy tomorrow.

Nabbed another $100 on $5M JP, ticket #04, $50 Fast Spot plus $50 single match. Single buy from bin.
Of course, also lost $20 on a bunch of crossword/bingo, all 6 were losers, 1 of each from vending machine. So came away only up $60...figures.

Finally got a $100 on $5M JP, ticket #15, single match. Just bought 1 from a vending machine when I got some chicken and hummus for lunch.
So far still got good 47% hit ratio and decent 74% prize ratio on the game, all single buys.
