'Toss, you got that right! These lottery commissions are literally playing games while allowing the games to be played. That is, they've only raised the starting amount on the jackpots while raising the prices to play 'em. Nothing, and I mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING has been done to actually increase the ACTUAL ODDS for more players to win. Oh look, its the name caller calling people names again. Maybe its time you stop sucking your thumb and move out of your Mommys house? Oh, yeah, if you lift the seat when you piss it wont be all wet when you sit down on it. If a person is wheeling a line with all the power balls for 10 draws it becomes a $700. ticket instead of $350. ticket before the price increase. OH, you have never seen $700. all at one time before? PIC6 is jersey's 6/49 game. 2 times a week, which starts @ 2mils and has currently grown to 18.2 mils, and i'm having a hard time trying to find out the last time it was this high. I rarely play powerball, even before the price increase.

Hey, Hey, Hey Beatle! Yes! Caught 217 for $1 box! If I feel a repeater coming on, I'm playing it 5 days, mid/eve, $1 box so I DON'T miss it!!! Sheesh, I play $10 in one draw!!! And if I feel to increase the bet STRAIGHT at least I'm covered in a box $100 works for me!!! Got sick and tired of missing a repeater, especially if I hit it...Lots of repeats lately... my box is good until Wednesday evening, so it can come on BACK! My strategy worked this time!!! I agree Ridge. To the OP, If you are trying to pick the correct number from 1-20 and you buy one 'ticket' that is a 50/50 chance of win or lose. If you buy 20 tickets your chances vastly increase. Apply the same logic to the lottery scenario a d you will see. You still have a 50/50 win/loss chance for *each ticket* but more shots or chances at being correct.
