Legal question?
Then we are clear on this point Alec. There are a lot of people who hate to be taxed and will find ways to try to steal from the government by not paying taxes. It is the law of this land and if you don't like that law, there are other places to go. You apparently sleep well at night knowing you have cheated on your taxes. There will come nights when you won't sleep so comfortably if you're ever caught cheating on your taxes.
I wish you luck. Uncle Sam isn't always so forgiving.

The English Language (What, another poll?)
I wouldn't know it if I were only looking at your posts. Some foreigners write better in English than people who were born and raised here.
English is my first and only language. Of course I took French and Spanish in high school and college like most students, but I soon forgot most of what I learned. After all, how often am I going to say Oh, Maria, it is raining outside and the record player is broken. What shall we do today? Now that I'm typing this, I'm starting to realize they used

Maryland Lottery machine glitches frustrate players
The liquor store where I usually buy my Mega Millions tickets has had the new machine in place for about 2 weeks. I have not seen any problems - but then again I don't go there everyday for pick3/pick4/keno. One interesting note is that the tickets are now thermally printed instead of with ink. In fact there is a warning on the reverse about them being sensitive to heat. I checked out on a loser ticket with a cigarette lighter - yup, turns black right away as soon as the flame gets anwhere c

Is it legal...
but i field that the state by prohibiting any lottery game from competing with the state lottery is sort of like "imposing" its voluntary-tax on players/itscitizens...You can compare it with imposing religion in school...don't you think so...that kinds of make me mad...If state lottery is considered a "voluntary-tax" to the state, what would casinos be called?
but even though it may not related, what makes me mad the most is the idea that casinos now have softwares that recognize your face (t

Important Discovery
Badger:
I use Prime Line to filter my results. If your results don't include one of your key numbers, throw it out. I use the double line method to determine this. If two lines are running toward 0 or toware 9 you can be assured that your keys will be 012 or 789. Really pretty easy, but you have to own the program to see it clearly. It is impossible to set up an example of Prime Line on this forum without cheating the developer. I use Prime Line for all kinds of uses including determinin

Massachusetts store owner wins $1 million
I wonder if 7-11 has a rule against employees buying tickets at the store. A neighbor of mine was fired from 7-11 last year for stealing lottery tickets which she denies. I can't believe she even admitted that to me. Hmm..could the fact that she's always drunk had anything to do with her termination? :-)
I agree with everyone here. Being a store owner or working at a store definitely gives a person an advantage. Once I sat at a roulette wheel in Vegas and bet on 22 over and over again. As

Why gamble at Online Lottery Sites?
Well it might not be cheating it just might be human error that causes some problems. On more than one occasion i have noticed numbers posted wrong on lottery websites and that bad information filtered down to other sites because the feed source reported the numbers to some data base and those numbers went out over the wire. Later on the website corrects the number and everything should be back to normal. Well in the case of the offshore people they are working with information that was reporte

Benford's Law
Hi Friends, While researching unrelated scientific subject matter I came across an article on Benford's Law. I decided that LP should/could benefit. I see that Win D already brought this up on November 25, 2004. Of particular interest is how it can be used to determine whether a lottery is being run fairly or not. You could probably sue the state lottery if Benford's Law proves that they are cheating.http://www.abc.net.au/science/k2/moments/s116315.htm Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Winning a Jackpot, Luck or Fate/Destiny?
So we must WORK HARD in order to get Rich well good because I WORK hard every time I decide too play the Pick-5 by selecting and Wheeling my numbers, and I am just repeating what a lot of Good Christian folk believe about gambling I for one do not share those beliefs, and as you stated VisionDude there are no Scriptures that say gambling is sinful. But you mentioned that getting Rich without hard work is sinful? that really doesn't make any sense to me why must someone have too work hard to get
