Why do lottery jackpot winners win? LUCK or FATE?
amber123,
We once had a poll here om how big a matrix would it take for you to stop playing and surprisingly some people said there woudln't be one big enough for them to stop, they'd play no matter what.

British Columbia Lottery taking bets on US election
They only poll likely voters.
Does it really make any sense to poll ineligibles or that didn't vote in the last election and won't vote in the next?
In 2012 only about 53% of eligible voters turned out.
In 2008 it was 62.3% and 49% in 1996. What is your point?
Because they had no one to vote for.
That's weird because every time I voted in a Presidential election, there were several candidates.
Don't believe the polls, this is going to be a landslide for Trump. Wait and s

A jackpot winner buying and selling drugs
Good Poll but there is Not enough information here to really say what punishment fits the crime should be, the first 3 choices seem to be extreme for a bag of weed.. maybe a 30 day rehab (No No No). RIP Amy Winehouse.
Not sure people are raised this way with all the peer pressure out there in the world hanging around the wrong crowd or from their so called friends that pulls them right in to drugs and other bad things, being in the wrong place at the wrong time, how old the winner was etc....

New survey destroys myth that poor Americans buy most lottery tickets
Comparing lottery play to a political candidate is a false narrative.
I was comparing one random sampling with another and commented what a political poll would probably show . A CNN/ORC random sampling from 7/01/2015 shows exactly what I said and uses similar demographics.
Less than half of Americans (47%) with a high-school diploma or less say they have purchased a state lottery ticket
And a political survey will show a percentage of voters with a high school diploma voting for one
