LOADING UP ON THE DUPS TONIGHT...THE NEXT GRID WILL BE MUCH QUICKER...TRUST ME. This is funny...about 30 min before the drawing I read an article on goerie that gamblers wagered 4.72 million at the casino. Isnt that something...I was staring right at it. NC Additional Draw in February
I want front and back pairs and earlier draw times. I read the article on the NC website and it does elude to an additional pick 3 draw. Maybe Sunday midday? I just can't see us having 3 pick 3 draws!!!! I will be calling in the am to see exactly what they mean by additional draw for pick 3.

Colossal Fail: Cowboys lottery game winners not getting tickets after all
I'm confused...the lottery didn't mention season tickets until the letters were sent out if I read the article correctly. They said it was a cut paste error , correct? So, what did the winners think they were playing for when they bought the tickets? PSLs, draft day, etc?

UPDATE: $128.6M Powerball lottery ticket sold in porn shop
Why so? I think this story and the comments are entertaining and funny. Porn is mainstream glorified. The article is making a big updo about nothing.

Shiver me timbers, but I'm gonna do it! Yup..I am agreeing 100% with RDGRNR's comments and the article ! The CANADIAN NON TAXED WINNERS are remarkable and deserving of acknowledgment for a good deed.

Canadian couple gives away entire $11.2M lottery jackpot
I'm not sure I understand why they played the lottery to start with. I get giving it away to help causes you really care about, but the tone I got from the article was that the money was just a big pain in the ass. They didn't anticipate that they'd actually have to do something with the money?

If you win the jackpot on the lotto and were to give
this doesn't sound right at all. To my knowledge, there is no law written in any book or any legal document that limits the amount of money someone can legally keep in their home in California or in any US state. If there is such a law (which I highly doubt), provide me with the link to this law or its article number and I will gladly eat my words. In the meantime I would say the claim there is a $10,000 limit on cash kept in someones home in California is an old wives tale.

Conspiracy Theories, the Lottery Edition
The first 3-digit number in the first AP article of the day in your newspaper will be tomorrow night's Pick 3. This only works in certain states. Two of the members here know which states, but they can't tell anyone.

New... Curse of the lottery II
I think that's correct. It's only a curse if you let it be one. Alot of lottery winners invest money in Dumb rip off scams and with family members ideas....... A combination of bad investments...overspending...and fame can be destructive.... I read an article about NFL players who go broke...and it sounded exactly the same as a lottery winnner... I think I read more than 1/2 of players go broke after leaving the NFL.....Nobody is saying there is a curse of the NFL...
