Study in Prediction for Jeff's "R" State.
Thanks Lantern! You know, it is absolutely insane the amount of money and combinations you play here with nothing back. Its at a point where I can actually predict what type of combo based on what I play.(ie. 4,6,12, and 24 way). Again, they have it down to a tea. There is nothing random about it! The odds DO NOT happen. Talking to people, most are disgusted with this and see it. It just continues. My God, the payouts are absolutely ridiculous. How can they even display them they are so bad. Unt

Largest Lotto South winner ignored wife to play lottery
I decided not to mention I play the lottery any more. I get very strange looks and people often tell me it's a fool's game. So I'll wait until I win and then this fool will be the one laughing. It's nice to read a story where the winners say they plan to retire right away. So many people say they'll continue to show up for work which doesn't sound believable. This man has worked 32 years at a mill and he's 49 which means he's been there since age 17. I think he deserves a vacation! Good for the

Do you know any lottery winners?
Hello everyone,My friend once won $100,000 on the IL. lottery TV show.Another friend won 3 1/2 Mil. and moved to Florida.A person that I knew ,but not very good, who lived in my neighborhood won like 65 Mil. He was a police officer and did not retire because he didn't want to loose his pension. (Go figure!)A bar in our area was the winner of... .something like 170 Mil. There was a big suit that lasted for a long time and the winner had to give some of the winnings to people that came in the bar

Texas Lottery Commission chair betting on future
OpinionI can't believe Crowe can 'crow' about his service without mentioning that he and his fellow commissioners condoned and/or approved all the actions that have created a rotten stink at lottery headquarters. He recently said he wouldn't have approved of the changes in the Lotto Texas game if he had known that adopting a bonus ball game would bring about a 30 percent reduction in revenues. He earlier said he was unhappy with the addition of 4 balls when the game went from 6/50 to 6/54 because

Stephenson figures his luck has changed dramatically since last year.On Monday, he grasped a giant check as he was named the first S.C. resident to win $1 million in the state lottery's Powerball Power Play Match 5 game. Michigan Weekly 9/19-9/25
Thanks, Nan. I loved it in Arizona and if I was starting over in life, that is where I would live. I love the culture, the heat, the scenery, everything about it. But my roots are Michigan, my family is Michigan, so I guess that says it all. I am seriously thinking though of getting a place in my mother's resort for the winter (not this one, next winter), if I can talk Bill into it. It is cheap housing, cheap living there. He would never go so his excuse is he would live alone all winter.

No more systems disscussed
I agree. I've read that about the only thing they can do to alter ballset drawing trends is to retire one or more ballsets which is done periodically by all lotteries to ensure randomness. I was told by a Virginia Lottery representative that all Lotto South ballsets were retired, new ones put into play around the latter part of January '05, if anyone noticed a trend change in that game. I sure did.Lotteries I've written or called in the past have told me that there are a minimum of 3, sometim

what state for pb win
I know one state you can eliminate right now is my home state of Minnesota. I can guarantee that the winner of the next Powerball jackpot WILL NOT be from Minnesota. Why?1. The Minnesota State Lottery is way too corrupt to even field another Powerball winner in the next few years.2. The Powerball winners from Minnesota are, for a lack of a better term, a bunch of a*****es! One couple from Minnesota, after winning close to $20 million after taxes, exclaimed, We won't be able to retire on th
