Lottery officials say identifying winners a must
I thought it was six? All those you mentioned accept for Wyoming. At least that's what I've heard for awhile. Wyoming's website says you can remain anonymous. Please check it out under the website's FAQ.

States That Allow Winners' To Remain Anonymous
Thank you. This is information that we all needed to know. I live in South Carolina, where I have the option of remaining anonymous when I win.

Tennessee couple claims share of $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot
Yes because they had no choice in most states when you win you can't stay ANONYMOUS! THAT'S NOT FAIR, So they did it on their terms to get it over with and hopefully be left alone!

Record $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot won by 3 tickets
You can set up a trust in TN. That's how you remain anonymous. The last winner, after the matrix change, did just that.

$1.5 BILLION: Wednesday Powerball record jackpot still rising
Many will play now as it is more of a relief and less burden and you won't be so famous if you win $40 million. But it makes more sense cost wise to play MB's for better odds and only paying half as much. I would love to win the $40 million though next draw so I would be completely anonymous while they are still looking for the $1.6 billion winner. But the cost is not worth it as much as the MB now. So they would be smart not to change it.

$1.5 BILLION: Wednesday Powerball record jackpot still rising
No anonymous claiming to boot. If they're the only winner the media sure won't back down on finding out every detail of their life.

$1.5 BILLION: Wednesday Powerball record jackpot still rising
Is that a new rule they finally decided on? They didn't pay Gloria the full $600 million they'd advertised and they didn't pay that anonymous winner in SC the full $400 million either.

Anonymity for this huge jackpot. Let's settle this right here and now.
If you win in SC you can stay anonymous. If you choose you can go public-something I think you want to do for some reason. I've read some other posts from you leaning in that direction. You might want to re-think that. Good luck to us all.

UK lottery winnings have the right to remain anonymous. In the excitement of a win, some winners agree to publicly, not really understanding the implications. For very large prizes, I believe there should be a 'cooling off period', of 100 days.

POWERBALL CREATES WORLD'S FIRST BILLION-DOLLAR JACKPOT
Actually I was hoping to win the big MM the other night so I would be completely anonymous but someone else got it. I play MM more than Powerball because of the $1.00 price and better odds. But when it is so high, or historically high like now I play PB just for the fun of it.
