This article is bias. There are so many winner who are living the life and not going broke. It just depend on how you handle the money and keeping your mouth shut. Greed and pride seen to play a role also in going broke.

Vt. Lottery computer glitch creates extra winners
Can you explain why ALL the supposed ISOLATED LOCAL RNG's produced the same Quick Picks SYSTEM WIDE?
I'm going to go way out on a limb and speculate that each independent terminal runs the same software. When identical software has identical malfunctions the results tend to be, well, identical. The article says As no numbers were being passed to the terminals, the system defaulted to all ones. That sounds pretty straighforward to me. As for rereading the article, if you try that yourself yo

Man wins Fla. Lottery jackpot for 7th time
I read the article you linked in your reply and didn't experience an Ah Hah moment. I guess when two people view the same information you have two different experiences. When its come to lotteries, the only experiences that count are the ones that include winning a lottery jackpot.

Maryland Lottery achieves 13th straight year of record sales
One of the most foolish things this State or the Lottery Commission blows the money on is the Raven's Stadium. And, the article doesn't mention the portion or precentage that goes to that waste.

Federal online gambling legislation clears big hurdle
I hate to nit-pick (not really but it sounds good) but the article said this law has gone deeper into the process than any other gambling law. Did not the law prohibiting online gambling go a bit further? Like all the way to the President's desk?

I really don't need the googlemaster to tell me something I already know. You keep saying it is written, as If that makes it true.
I've read the Bible and watched many many religious shows in the past, during a long period when I did subscribe to what the Bible wrote. Sometimes on shows like PTL, Paul Crouch would have a guest on the show that threw left curve ball questions at some

S.C. Lottery goes dark on Election Day
Oh, this is interesting. I wonder if not being able to purchase lottery tickets on election days results in a higher per capita of voting by registered voters on election days vs. other states. I'd enjoy reading an depth research article!

Businesses near Nevada border popular for lottery players
Notice that there is no mention of a jackpot ever being hit on those two stores. One can argue that the article is not about jackpots but about stateline border stores selling lottery but I'm positive if somebody had ever hit a jp they would have more than mentioned it. I'm really beginning to question this lottery thing. We'll see

Paid In Lottery Tickets
An invetigstive reporter once did an article on the Will work for food panhandlers (I think it was the Las Vegas Review Journal) and he said over and over again when people with these signs were offered to come help clean out garages or do yard work their standard answer was, I don't want to lose my corner, my spot.
