I take it you haven't heard about all the lottery winners who took the annuity and still went broke. Doesn't matter which payment method you take, if you can't budget you'll go broke regardless. If that's your only reason for choosing the annuity, it would make more sense to take the cash and form a trust to only release $X to you per month.

That's my biggest problem with scratchoffs. You really just don't know if they release all the tics, especially ones with the top prize. In Tx, they are closing out a game that still has a $7,500,000 prize unclaimed. Did someone buy it and mistakenly throw it away. Or did it ever get distributed?

The old 100X the Cash rolls have serial number below 930,000. On the back of each ticket, you'll see a serial number. For example, 1208-1041335-0-027(013). The 1208 is the game number. The next set of numbers is the book number. The books are released sequentially (e.g, 000001 to 930,000). The 0 is a control number and the 027 is the ticket number. I meant like where in the roll. Hopefully the next batch of tickets coming in a couple weeks are good. The last couple months GA has been releasing some terrible tickets. Feeling like they release a new $10, so I hope its good. None of this great odds to win $100, but bad odds to win anything above that.

Arizona does not require a press conference, photos, or any sort of publicity, but it does require the Lottery to release the winner's name and hometown on request. For me, this isn't much of a problem. My name is common enough that I can't find myself on Google, and if I win big, hometown will become ex-hometown the day after I claim the prize.
