Prosecution rests in Hot Lotto trial
My post was based on this piece i read earlier in the Daily Beast ....
...Tipton insists he doesn t know Johnston, Shaw, or Sonfield from Adam. There s no communication between me and them, Tipton said, adding that there s no way to connect him with these people other than circumstantially. My name is nowhere, Tipton said.
Ask Tipton about the evidence and he comes back with his own version of conspiracy and innuendo. He never bought the ticket. Some mystery man did.
I have to prove th

Bret Toyne appointed interim executive director
A prominent lottery official who has run the Powerball game since its inception was quietly removed from his 28-year post leading the Multi-State Lottery Association after a jackpot-fixing scandal inside his organization got bigger, according to a document obtained by The Associated Press.
Charles Strutt, executive director of the association since its 1987 founding, was stripped o

Eddie Tipton released from prison on parole
Unfortunately the lotteries didn't willingly pay this guy or the guy that won the first Hot Lotto jackpot after the one Tipton rigged allegedly rigged. It's a bit awkward for the prosecution to argue that Tipton cheated others out of money when the lotteries say everyone else got as much money as they were entitled to.

Colorado man who unwittingly split a $4.8M jackpot with scammer is fighting the Colorado Lottery
If not Amir, it could have just as easily been someone else. Plus we don't know if Amir bought his ticket before or after Tipton rigged the computer. Not only that, but there is always the chance that if Amir had more than one ticket he could have won even if Tipton had not rigged the drawing.

Colorado man who unwittingly split a $4.8M jackpot with scammer is fighting the Colorado Lottery
You make a valid point- Amir was a beneficiary of Tipton s scheme. If anything, Amir should be thanking Eddie for getting something out of a drawing Tipton set up.

No. You had a post about a guy in Colorado involved in the Tipton scam. He was suing Colorado lottery trying to reclaim money he should have won if Tipton didn't cheat. Was a FOX news story. You posted this on page 200. Is this the twilight zone or what? LOL

Iowa lottery lawsuit granted class action, affecting 7.2 million tickets in 19 states
I can't recall if it was Culler or not, but wasn't there a Hot Lotto winner right after Tipton winning his jackpot? That person would have won the won the money that Tipton tried to get.

Winner sues Colorado Lottery 12 years after rigged drawing
The two State agents who spoke to Massih, may have given him the impression that Tipton was going to fork over the rest of the jackpot to him. Now that it has not come to pass, they going after the establishment itself. That's pretty difficult, given the fact that it would be assumed that the lottery KNEW in advance what Tipton was doing. It's a shot in the dark at the lottery, nothing more, nothing less. Massih's lawsuit is attempting to make the Lottery a co conspirator.

Lottery rigging mastermind sentenced to 25 years in prison
I feel sorry for the players who might have shared a jackpot with Tipton or one of his cohorts. THEY GOT ROBBED. You know that the lottery bosses are very greedy when it comes to free money, right? As for Tipton himself, he is soft and plumpy and BUBBA will be glad to meet him. GOOD RIDDANCE!!!.
