Who Would Make The Best LD?
I disagree on Indiana. I would accept the job from ANY state with computerized drawings just so I could rip out the computers, pull the lottery machines out of the back room, and sign a TV broadcast contract. Then I'd hire a great marketing guru, trumpet the event of reverting back to real drawings, and bring in record revenues.Any state disbelieves that I could do it? Try me.

Non-broadcast balls vs. computers
anything is better than a computer, even if the ball drawing is NOT broadcast its still better than computers.the computerized drawings are dishonest and are a cancer to lottery players.......the first person who thought of the idea to computerize lottery drawings should be in the hall of shame.........

Has Everyone Signed the Megaplier Petition?
I understand the Texas Megaplier...it's automated. How are Powerplay and the petition connected? Isn't the Powerplay number still selected by a spinning wheel during the broadcast, before the numbers?Plus if Megamillions made the Megaplier global, they could institute a wheel or ball drawing for the Megaplier number.

'Classic' lottery game replacing Michigan Winfall
It's only a matter of time. It gives them the advantage of not having to broadcast drawings twice a day. That saves them money, and that means we get screwed.

Texas Midday 2/28...
Had that been on a Houston station, I would have called and reported it. I say, that's what you need to do. I haven't noticed that happening in our area. I'm not sure we even get the numbers broadcasted at noon....I'm always watching MY Soap Opera! And, I don't recall that ever happening during the night broadcast, it may have and I wasn't watching. I usually get mine off the internet...it seems faster than the TV.Maybe your LAST sentence is correct....lol

Powerball 26-Feb-2005
At least they televise it that's more than most lotteries can claim now. Who knows how Wa. state picks their balls anymore since there are no tapes and no broadcast drawings.

10 Second Prizes in Washington
Yes it's lame that they don't broadcast the drawings anymore however the rest is really out there. You might want to lay off of what ever that was.If anything it should show that player that he should have covered all the Megaballs not just a few of them. Now if you want to call the Governor's race a scam then yes, it was a scam. If someone was interested then they could check out http://www.soundpolitics.com.Sad the new governor was elected by 129 votes and yet all the large counties have 100+

delaware....live drawings
exactly.and just because you are videotaping the drawings does not mean that you need to televise them. you can broadcast them on the lottery's website.

ball drawings vs. computer drawings
It's all about accountability. Players want to know that the drawing is random and not tampered with. The best way states can do that is have televised drawings of balls. They could also post televised drawings on their website if they don't have it broadcast on public access channel.
