Retailers preparing for launch of Mississippi Lottery
Yes, oh yes. I would rather go eastward 60 to 90 minutes one way driving time out of my area to buy Mississippi lottery tickets. The Louisiana draw style games are RNG, and there is a blatant problem with employee theft of winning tickets in my area. I had $40.00 in winning $5.00 scratchers, and the cashier tried to keep one, and scanned $30.00 He was showing my that I had $30.00 in winnings as the terminal printed receipt showed, not mentioning that he put one aside for himself. I'm not s

Lottery Ethics
You cant bet on pre-tests so whats the point of worrying about and putting your attention on something that is not going to help you. Only Texas has pre-test data. I used to be obsessed about looking at the pre-tests, until I realized its not worth the time. As far as them pulling a ball set , can you substantiate your claim with some data? When was the last time your state pulled a ball set? How far was the deviance? That would be an interesting news story, to know and understand the standa

Lottery Ethics
I suppose this is a twist on the original premise. But yes I bought an RNG ticket. I am a hypocrite! But I won a little cash. (using my gap strategy) But the only cheaper alternative was a pick 3 which is also a RNG. And a pick 3, I cant really use the same gap strategy. X[?,?] I suppose its not impossible to adapt a gap strategy for pick 3. I did try not too long ago, but I was having a hard time to make the 470, rearrange into a 047, so I mostly gave up for now. But the new ethical problem

Details emerge about CT Lottery CEO secretly recording board chairman in 2014
More 'dirty laundry' revealed by botched raffle draw investigation Connecticut Lottery Corp. Vice President Chelsea Turner testified Tuesday that around 2014, she and then-lottery CEO Anne Noble had such suspicions about Frank Farricker, then chairman of the lottery's governing board, that she contacted an agent she knew in the FBI which then had Noble record Farricker secretly in at least one meeting. The small recording device was concealed inside an eyeglass case, Turner testified under

Judge rules $560M Powerball lottery winner can stay anonymous
sure a person can fight this and be an exception to any law made. Thats how MONEY works in this day and age. I live on principles and ethics. This lady also has a new found ethic, With money she can buy off anyone and be beyond the laws. Mind you we have some real humans behind keyboards, insisting anonymity is the wave of the future. which every crook is willing to stand behind ...crime is rarely out in the open but rather cloaked in anonymity. Old addage holds true...follow the money.

Monopoly Millionaires game
Interesting observation. Brings into question whether many players understand the $1 million raffle part of the game - if many don't, the MMC game is already doomed, since the raffle is an important aspect of the game to make it standout from other large jackpot (aka top prize ) games that sell at lower price-points. As for unclaimed winners. Will MMC participating states with winners will aggressively seek them out?... On the one hand, not doing so could yield the MUSL and participating stat

Travel by Missouri Lottery employees under scrutiny
Nine Missouri Lottery employees took a state-paid trip to Orlando, Fla., in July 2012 to attend a professional development seminar. It wasn't the only time lottery employees traveled to the Sunshine State. During the last three years, officials have logged a total of 20 trips to central Florida. Other popular destinations included New York, San Diego, Chicago, Washington, Atlanta, Las Vegas, New Orleans and Providence, R.I. The out-of-state travel which has cost the lottery $129,881 and a

Have you ever won a pick 4 straight before ?
Being negative is so subjective. This site is full of different personalities, cultures, ethnicities, values, morals, and ethics. Now who get kicked off for being negative, the standard member versus gold/platinum members, the openly Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Atheist, or other religious group, etc? How does one know to report abuse?Does one report abuse because they have a hatred for a group of people therefore they deem everything that person says as negative. Why isn't there a flag for peopl

Does Mathematical Innumeracy foster superstitions and support the belief in them?
Jimmy: Up until a few minutes ago I was working on a reply to one of RL's posts wherein I made a case that he has recently acquired a ghost writer. Get a grip; this is a message board forum. Jimmy: When I finally hit the submit button, I got an error message and soon discovered that RL's post had disappeared! Fortunately, I saved a copy of his post, which I had spell checked Maybe RL deleted it, a Moderator did, you imagine it existed, or you're pulling a scam. It really doesn't matte
