a rumor...don imus to join a state lottery for work
Maybe if someone has offered a $50M/5years contract to Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton to talk on a radio show or to do anything else they should reconsider their offer too. Before I retired the company I worked for had to allow women to apply for jobs that had traditional been only held by men and some of the guys thought if they used offensive language in the presents of the ladies they would apply for different jobs but the company warned them that such stupid behavior would get them fired

No that is stupid and if the shift manager told her that, then she needs to be fired, too.

You're fired!
Hey, getting terminated or term I prefer is fired is no laughing matter. Especially if yur the monkey that got fired . At some work places you are nothing but a number and firing you is just part of their game. I once worked at a place that would let this core favorite group of people get away with murder and everyone else had to walk on egg shells. I hated that place. Employees' should have more rights. But no, not in North Carolina.

Can Employees Cheat?
I assume in S.C. you have to scratch the tickets off to see if they are winners but not sure. I heard about a lady in my itsy bitsy city that worked at a convenience store where her daughter worked there first and was sent to jail terminated for scratching off a couple of thousand dollars worth of tickets. Then the lady gets a job there after the daughter leaves and she does the same thing. She is caught on camera. She is warned the day before she is fired that the manager knows what she is do

Man arrested after redeeming stolen lottery tickets
Speaking of cameras, I have a neighbor who got fired from 7-11. I honestly don't know the real story, but she said she was accused of stealing lottery tickets and food and she denied it. She did admit to eating the hot dogs they have to throw out, which actually makes sense to me. What I couldn't believe is that someone would admit she got fired from 7-11 for stealing in the first place.

steeling tickets after you print them up
Cool poll. I'm a voter. Gives me a warm red glow knowing it. I'm proud to say I'm on the team in favor of just gave you a warning and fired you from the pace . Anyone who thinks different is wrong and ought to be given a warning and fired from the pace.Jack Edited in later. I can't seem to drag myself away from this poll. I keep re-reading it and laughing. This might be my favorite poll of all time on LP.Later yet: Doggone, I swore I was going to leave....went offline, went out front and d
