I saw it too Want to win the lottery read this first and submitted a message on the article linked to, now I'll never know if it was approved as I didn't save the link.
It was supposedly from the Columbia student newspaper with some quotes from GH and a professor who tried to blow off using lottery systems.
I'm kinda surprised it went away considering Amazing Grace was the poster, not some newbie.

Went to the paper's website and the article isn't being found, maybe tha

Calif. Senate approves higher lottery payouts
Actually, another site has an article about this. The law says that of that 87%, at least 50% must be paid in prizes. So the players will make out a LITTLE bit better.

Does anyone here know what happened to Brad Duke?
You might remember him winning a then-record Powerball jackpot years ago that netted him $85 million in cash after taking the payout. He was one of the few success stories. There was a news article in a prominent publication about how he has been investing his winnings, but that was back in 2005. Has anyone since heard anything about the Idaho native?

Lottery show on ABC
Didnt see that article but he had a pretty bad past also . Thing is he came from a bad place and when he got all that money he just about gave it all away to help others. I wonder just how many of them really appreciated his generosity

Lottery winner lost money after investing funds
One more danger in the market is black box trading, trades done automatically by computer programs with no human intervention, even the fund managers are well aware of this danger to the stocks in their funds. Did anyone read the article about the Goldman Sachs super computer? It sees what trades are being made a few seconds before they go through, and trades accordingly. What can the average investor do about that? Individual stock buying today carries too many risks, if you make money you are

Is this true?
A citation is a reference to a legitimate source of the information. Naturally when people make stuff up or base an article on rumors they can't provide a citation.

Virginia Lottery drawings moving from TV to Internet
I was just discussing this article with my husband. He immediately said, Va lottery is going to save alot of money. I said I wish Maryland would do the same thing but I sure MDSL has signed a contract with WBAL for a number of years. What a rip off. WBAL doesn't air the numbers on Saturday mornings and Saturday nights the time of the airing is posted as 8:27pm or between 8:27-8:30. I watched for the drawing last night and it didn't air at all.

Powerball coming to N.Y. & N.J.
I received an email from the NY Lottery in response to my email requesting information about our participation in Powerball. The reply was, NY will be selling Powerball early this year. New Jersey Lottery's press release section on their web site has an article stating they will also be selling Powerball early this year. Now I won't have to go to Connecticut to buy Powerball.

Possible 2x's Jackpot Winner.
In the last article and what's even more remarkable is that they're the sixth New Jersey winner in just the past three years would indicate that they are not a double winner but if they were the same family I doubt they would bring attention to that fact because of the negative feelings that could be generated among players who have never won once.
